Pretty nice hotel. However, if you don't have a car you have to plan yourself a lot because there is only Regional Trains or Buses that arrive there every two hours.

Daenholm is a small island close to Stralsund on the Baltic Sea, with a reliable bus link into town. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel as such is fairly standard for its origins as an East German establishment, but the location is great for walks and excursions. Breakfast was buffet style most of the time with a variety of edibles and drinks

Facilities could have been updated with a business centre and either regular meals or a connection to the nearby yacht club, and the installation of a small refrigerator in some of the rooms. With better marketing they should be largely full during the summer months, as the location is interesting, and other similar locations such as Usedom are booked out for most of the summer season

No Restaurant or bar in the hotel and none walking distance nearby. But with a car no problem at all

Shower head blocked by calcaire , room not available on arrival at 17:00 (staff shortage), manager less than friendly.

Hotel is situated in a quiet green place. There was a lot of space and light in the room, all needed furniture, TV and good bathroom. Breakfast was also good enough. We got a very good rest in our trip.

There was a trouble with WiFi, it dropped regularly. We stayed in a hotel just one day, and didn't spend much time on this problem. So, it would be good to check details with the personnel from the beginning.

Nice hotel in quite a strange location on the island surrounded by boats, water and a former military base. However it's very quiet and good for a one night stop over. I was allowed to keep the bike in the hotel too.

The restaurant was closed on the Thursday night I stayed but the nearby yacht club provided an ideal alternative otherwise it would have been difficult.
