Giovanna is an amazing host and she and her team do absolutely everything to make you feel at home and have an amazing stay. Her son Francesco has a boat so you can go on an amazing boat tour around the bays and caves of the Vieste coastline (highly recommended) and her friendly husband Ennio makes some great homemade wine. Also would like to mention Giada who was super friendly and gave great tips of things to do and see. Last but not least great chalets. nice beds and amazing breakfast!

Our family of 5 adults enjoyed everything about our 5 nights at Maresol. Giovanna, Ennio, Francesco and Giada went above and beyond all expectations providing suggestions for dining, sightseeing, shopping and everything else we needed. We tried them all and loved each and every one. The property is meticulously clean and is attended constantly as evidenced in gardeners, handymen and cleaning staff present each day. Attention to detail was exemplary. The rooms are comfortable and each room has an outdoor sitting/dining area to enjoy the quietness, views and weather as well as communal areas with more outdoor seating, tables and sun lounges. It is a short drive from Vieste centre and the beach with lovely views out to the ocean. The serenity of the property was enjoyed as was the spa after sightseeing all day. The breakfast available is a wonderful way to start the day, always fresh and a large selection to choose from including fresh cakes made by Giovanna herself. Thank you for our wonderful stay and we would love to come back one day and cannot recommend Maresol enough to others visiting the region.

We started our Puglia trip with a 4 night stay in Vieste at the Marisol. The location was perfect in the Gargano region away from the hustle and bustle of town yet only a short drive away. The property has great views over the hills and down to the sea and there is also a fantastic restaurant close by Chalet Degli Ulivi just the best pizza and lovely ambience. Our apartment was very clean and comfortable with 2 outside areas a balcony facing the sea and a terrace with a table and seating to the entrance. The kitchen though small is functional and is well equipped Joanna is a fantastic host very welcoming, friendly and helpful giving us great tips for restaurants and beaches. We had a fantastic boat trip with her son Francesco just 7 people. It was suppose to be 3 hours long but was definitely a lot longer. We travelled a long way up the coast entering caves and had 2 swim stops. We also learnt a lot about the area and myths from Francesco and even though we were the only English on the boat with Italians we didn’t get left out and he would always take time to talk to us. This trip is a must and great value. We loved our stay here in fact we would have liked to stay longer at the Maresol and in Vieste. Would definitely return if in the area.

The appartment is very functional even the kitchen is rather small. Nice bed and a fine bathroom. We had a beautiful view - the sunrise - from the balcony. The owners, Giovanna and her husband, are so very kind and helpful. We had a punkture of our car and they arranged a repair garage in no time. Residence Maresol is certainly a place we would come back to.

Our host Giovanna is very kind and very hospitable. The room is very clean and has a beautiful view from our terrace .
