Carpet in room smelled humid and dirty

We liked the deal of eating within the hotel every night for a fixed price. We could choose from 2 menus.and the quality and service was very good.

The hotel is gorgeous, steeped in character!! The staff are fabulous - really friendly and warm and the owners have a strong presence there which is lovely because you get the feeling that they really care about their guests' experience. The food is absolutely fabulous, especially in the Gourmet Restaurant but the Beach Restaurant is also really good. I chose full board and would highly recommend this option for a complete chill out which is what I went for. The small beach is lovely - a wee bit stoney but there is a sandy way to walk out. The other beaches in Illettas are beautiful but far too busy in August which is when I was there. I did walk down to both of them but sped back to the sanctuary of Bon Sol asap without even a swim! Beautiful Palma city is a 20 minute bus journey away with very regular busses. Well worth a visit. Also it's super easy to get to Hotel Bon Sol from the airport by taxi (€30/40). I travelled alone this time but would happily go back with my partner and (6 year old) daughter or with friends. All in all I would highly recommend Hotel Bon Sol if chilling out completely and being looked after is what you are looking for. I would go back in a heart beat.

I cannot tolerate gluten at all (coeliac disease). The hotel made a real effort to accommodate this and some staff were well informed but there is room for improvement, especially given how prevalent coeliac disease/gluten intolerance is and how negatively it can effect people.

Love the location, sea inlet for swimming and lovely pool. Beachside restaurant very pleasant. Ver friendly staff.

My partner got food poisoning from the lunch Buffet on the first day , 1 week after his still not 100% , he loss all of his time in Mallorca

The pool & the private beach are beautiful. Really nice resort , extremely relaxing and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was very tasty ! Would stay again !

It was hard to get a deck chair in the mornings people are up VERY early to get them . Food could be better at lunch time .

The location and facilities of this Hotel are fantastic. They have a large pool that is very deep and surrounded by palm trees. Then you also have the option to go to the beach located at the bottom of this property. The staff were really lovely and the breakfast had lots of options. Overall a great place to stay.

We stayed in the rooms at the top of the property that are quite outdated. One of the rooms had red carpet, which really needs to go. There was also a damp smell in the rooms. I think they can improve the rooms by adding some nice fragrances and removing the old wooden furniture with some more modern furniture.

A family-run hotel with extremely pleasant and helpful staff, including the cleaning and maintenance personnel, we felt welcome at all times. Great food, fresh. Lots of greenery in and around the hotel, and a very nice swimming pool near the bar. Bar staff seemed to enjoy their work, the lifeguard was always helpful, everyone was smiling and pleasant and helpful beyond the expected level. Lots of amenities - table tennis, volleyball court, mini golf, billiard room, swimming pools, beach... It takes a bit of time to get your bearings, as hotel is comprised of several buildings at different levels, but there are hidden gems there such as the small chapel, the library and the lobbies above the reception. Well worth exploring.

The billiard room needs refurbishing. WiFi could be better. Minor stuff: the additional bed was old and was leaving pieces of underlay on the floor after sleeping in it. TV's have no option for Chromecast. The view would have been much nicer if the roofs of the lower hotel buildings were nicer (some are covered in pieces of torn artificial turf). Beach is a bit small but nice and clean and the sea is amazing

Breakfast hours very good and food- dinner really good food- choice and very friendly service - it was really good to be able to eat in the beach restaurant too. Beach had a lot of pebbles therefore not easy to access the sea but that’s nature. - we only found one toilet in rock pool bar area

The foisty smell in the underground tunnels- the entertainment could be more varied for different ages- not enough entertainment

Great food and lovely beach. Recommend. Great hosts. Martin and Lorraine are great! Nothing is too much.

The location between our family room and mum's was too far.

Scenery was beautiful! Beds comfortable, rooms clean, and staff very friendly.

Some of the other guests weren't very welcoming. We had just arrived and went down to the pool, and a woman came up to one of my male friends and began yelling at him for cussing around her children the day before. He hadn't even been there the day before, but she would not listen and made a scene. It was embarrassing and we felt very unwelcome.

Loved the little beach and the breakfast restaurant was right next to it so you had amazing views.

There's something for everyone at this hotel. Some of the staff are excellent. The family keep a close eye on things and are very personable.

Steps! The location whilst good in that it has a small private beach from which to access the sea, means it is steeply terraced.
