The hotel was just beautiful. It exceeded our expectations.. everyone was super nice and very helpful. Everyone from the Bellmen , reception, and wait staff were very friendly and super nice. You guys made our stay super special, thank you .

Hotel is dated. It has attempted to renovate but our room was basic & cramped considering the price paid. Food had way too much salt.

Complete disinterest from staff. Tripped over their carpet.Thought I had broken my hand. Couldn't even find a bandage. Lied about having booked me a taxi for ferry.Not bothered when I said other people had tripped and could they investigate. Supposed ,'mountain vi was a steep bank which blocked all natural light. No water, tea /coffee making facilities in room, Reception didn't even bother to ask how my stay was. Very limited dining options nearby. Limited food choices for a vegetarian. No lifts Hotel decor shabby and dated. Poor service in restaurant. First time I have stayed in a hotel where guests were booking out days early. If I won a holiday, I would not go back there. Am now in Skopelos and experiencing such a different hotel stay.

Location, lovely views, room was comfortable with lovely view. very good breakfast. Helpful staff. Swimming pool area was really pleasant with nice views.
Some areas need to be updated and also bathrooms in rooms.

No coffee maker in the room for a four star hotel not acceptable.
Issue with refrigerator took too long (2days) to be resolved after multiple calls.
Also, not a huge deal, but one of our rooms wasn’t ready when we arrived..they told us 20 minutes, we waited almost 3 hours (valuable beach time wasted).

The location is great and the views breathtaking. The hotel is spotless and staff very friendly and welcoming. The shuttle service to the beach was needed, especially for our age group 65+.
A lift would have been a plus. The location although beautiful was up a steep hill and bus stop into town down a winding steep driveway.

we ordered 6 nights,
first we got a room like a cheap Hostel… dirty, rust in the bed and on the doors….
the walls was dirty, so we went to the reception and told them that we want to get that room and they give us other room, that one was much much better…

Mathara is the hotel beach and it is probably the one we liked the most. Please note that it is not close and you have to walk and cross a road. The hotel provides a shuttle bus. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
A four stars hotel cannot not have this classification without a lift serving all floors. The hotel manager must tackle this issue with a matter of urgency. It is a hotel with ground plus three above ground and 3 below ground. The lack of this service must be CRYSTAL CLEAR at the hotel description to provide full understanding of the hotel. For instance for us, travelling with a baby was terrible to carry the pram three floors up and down every day. Not to mention that my mother is 77 and struggle every time she was up or down.

NO LIFTS. unacceptable!!!! hotel is not accesible. no just for disabled but in my case having to take my baby pram every day up and down several times. Not too mention my mother of 77 suffering the same every day. the entrance to the hotel has also a step and the access to the pool and restaurant another three steps. This barrier must be known and added to the hotel description. it is nice hotel but very old.

the view
Uncomfortable old and small twin size beds. we requested king size beds and we were given two twin size beds. Floors were dirty with sand. Bathrooms made a creaking sound. No elevators. What the listing/advertisement showed was not what we got and we had to move to a better hotel. restaurant did not accommodate credit card payment and they brought out the wrong food.

The rooftop restaurant was lovely and had spectacular views. The pool area was kept clean and has wonderful views. shame they only allow you one towel per person as the plastic on the sun loungers get hot and one towel doesn’t cover it sufficiently.
The bedroom was so dated, bed had stains on bedding, and very uncomfortable. floor was dirty and bathroom was very old. towels were poor quality and minimal. The breakfast buffet was very poor quality too.

They voluntarily upgraded our room on arrival which was a lovely gesture. The location and views are spectacular, the staff couldn’t be more helpful and the music and smell of the hotel was divine and the closest beach Maratha and others were beautiful. Definitely recommend.
The bed sheets could have been softer and comfier and would have preferred one double mattress rather than 2 singles. Also couldn’t get the MP3 player and tv to link to phones and the tv only Gad 1 tv channel and a few radio ones.

We have been upgraded in an Executive sea view room, which was really awesome! The view is breathtaking, the interior design fits the lobhy’s atmosphere... The pool area and the White View reastaurant are the best choices to enjoy your brunch- lunch- dinner featuring greek cuisine inspired dishes. The staff is friendly and professional. This hotel spans over 40 years or so in Skiatjos island making it a destination on its own...
Debatably, some lublic areas are not in par with the rest of the hotel
