I like everything about Kinsterna this is why I am coming back every summer.

This was the first time that there were children at the adults’ pool. It was a bit disturbing given the fact that the hotel has a children’s pool located next to one of the restaurants.

peaceful - an oasis of calm. The staff were lovely.

I really loved my evening meals but my husband found the beef a bit tougher than home. Wasn’t crazy about the breakfast.

amazing stuff feels like a family. food was from another word as it’s all done with ingredients that are produced in house.

it’s extremely hard to find something that we didn’t like.

Exceptional property and staff.

Breakfast is good. A lot of variety of sweets, fruits and salty foods. No lactoise free option (ex rice milk/ free lactoise biscuits).

Massage very standard. I think it should be useful ask before massage what do you prefer in terms of pression/fragrances/body’parts ecc. and explain a little bit type and methodology.

the food. breakfast is not reach and at diner the nenue was the same for three days.

excellent location, ambiance, very comfortable rooms with private entrance and incredible setting. the staff are all very polite to the point that make you feel uncomfortable (in the good way). there was even a golf cart waiting us to pick us up and our luggage when we arrived at 10pm.

Even though they advertise that the food is sourced from within their estate as they have their own mini agriculture, we found most of the food quite blunt without any real state. in general, the food that is served is not worth the money, although they have every good intention.

The regular rooms and byzantine suites are subterranean and damp with no windows or very tiny ones. Get a bigger room

Kinsterna Hotel was a highlight of our five week trip to Greece. what a beautiful place. This converted old Byzantine Palace/Home was a place of beauty, solitude, excellent staff, and fabulous location. It is about 10 minutes outside of Monemvasia, but a perfect spot if you want to enjoy the area without a lot of noise and people. We drive a rental car and there was plenty of free parking. The resort is somewhat terraced, but the rooms and facilities are quite private. We ate one night at the Greek Taverna which had superb food. The reception offered experiences of a boat ride around the area, horseback riding, cooking classes, hiking and wine tasting. Our room was very comfortable with a lovely decor and bathroom. If you want a special place to celebrate an Anniversary or birthday or even your honeymoon, this place is very special.

A beautiful magical place, very relaxing. Rooms are very well presented with great bathrooms and everything you could need for a perfect stay. Great food.

The hotel appears to now be allowing children in the main pool which was always reserved for adults - this is a mistake. There is a great family pool for children, the main pool should be kept as a place for adults to relax - it’s the big selling point of Kinsterna!

Faultless hotel with excellent food & brilliant staff. We stayed for our honeymoon & Kinsterna was perfect from start to finish.

The place is a sanctuary that has been rebuilt on ancient premises with a great love for detail and good taste. The pool area is spacious. Gym is small but functional. Restuarants offer tasty variety and breakfast in particular is great. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Rooms were super tidy and well equipped. Best was the complimentary upgrade to one of the vast appartements with a stunning view. Had an excellent time here! Thank you.

this place is magical! the most beautiful hotel we have ever staid in. the gardens are fabulous and so are the pool. we really felt like at home and the staff were super nice and super helpful. we highly recommend to stay at this hotel this is truly our best stay!

The location is second to none

Having booked a premium suite many months prior, on arrival we were allocated the worst room at the property. The room (15E I think) has a tiny balcony that overlooks nothing - neither sea nor landscape. It is unusable for anything other than standing. The room is incredibly dark with a mean window. We immediately complained. To the hotel’s staff’s credit - after we complained - we were reallocated a room comparable to the standards off all other rooms. Hotel staff commented that they know this room is really bad and have asked the owners to remedy it (as they have, it appears, with other). This treatment (being palmed off with the worst room in the hope we were too embarrassed to say anything) made us feel unwanted, duped, conned and disregarded as clients. It is a measure of how good the staff are and how good the rest of the hotel is, that we ended up enjoying our stay.
