Very helpful staff. In fact it was one lady who organized everything from room, dinner and car parking very friendly and promptly. It was the perfect starting point for our trip to the Eolian Islands.

Professional and helpful staff. In the corridors, I loved the smell of a city hotel. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a view of the harbour. Breakfast was very well put together and featured Sicilian specialities.

The breakfast was very good. Many Sweet pastry. The room was spacious. The hotel is located few minutes walk from the port, a good base to see the islands.

Great place to stay. It’s a long uphill walk to the place which was shocking in the heat but totally worth it, so be prepared. The secret garden is amazing! Definitely worth the trip.

Ferries to Islands didn't operate as a result of the weather. Clear information should be provided about this.

Unfriendly, unhelpful staff. Small room with a malfunctioning AC, and not very clean. Window with a view on a wall... Wifi working from time to time. And the price.... 360 euros for one night for this level of facilities and staff is crazy. I understand it was pick season in Milazzo but there is no way this can be close to be worth the money. We raised these concerns to the staff who didn't mind much. They have a good stream of tourists so no need to provide good service it seems. Location is in front of the industrial port with cranes at work. Avoid if you can

The staff of which over the length of time I was there for was made much easier with Francesco helping me daily guide me to finest of local foods with his fantastic knowledge and passion for the culture and cuisine of his home city, Simona and Georgia who were also excellent during my stay with a desire to assist and make my stay at the hotel very comfortable, I couldn’t of wished for three more professional members of the hotel making my stay very comfortable and always feel welcome.

A great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. We needed a hotel at short notice and the Bussola hotel was a great find.

Probably it was a busy period but maybe 4 stars are over rated as breakfast was low quality and some details were not nice, like a water bottle opened in the room (not nice after Covid situation) probably because they are charging for the water, while other 4 stars not.
