Location, very clean, staff friendly and shower was awesome!

Schönes Hotel. Unser Zimmer war zwar klein aber optimal aufgeteilt und eingerichtet. Es ist neu und modern. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und hatte eine große Auswahl. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Wir würden wieder kommen. Es war eins der besten Hotels auf unserer Reise.

Plássið við rúmið var mjög lítið.

Hótelið tók ekki gjafabréf sem greiðslu vegna einhverja tæknilegra atriða sem viðskiptavinin geta ekki áttað sig á,sem er ekki boðlegt.

Friendly staff. Easy to walk around town. Comfortable lobby/ lounge/bar area. Restaurant food was exceptional. Bar tenders were fun and energetic.

Not enough place at the bar to sit, at breakfast to enter in the room and not enough tables, impossible to move around the breakfast tables to serve itself, waitress not at the bar when we arrived. Her colleague has to call her because she didn’t know how to prepare cocktails. The waitress didn’t know much more. She spills our cocktails… bathroom not separated from the room. No door with the shower. WC not separated from the place with the bed…

I have always liked staying at this hotel when i have stayed in Akureyri, before it changed from its name and other bought it. It is not the same hotel as before but the location is good and I didn’t have breakfast because it is too expensive and not worth spending all that money

What didn’t i like for the start when we arrived and we got a room which’s was not what i had ordered, it was a family room with queen size bed and some bunk beds and we were just two. I went down to the lobby to let them know that this was not what i had ordered i had requested a king room. The receptionist told me that this was the room he got for me now and if I didn’t like it he had a room in the basement or room with twin beds. I told him that I would find another place to stay and would like him to cancel my reservation he then suddenly found a room similar to what i had ordered. An other thing that has also changed at this hotel is that they now charge for the Wi-Fi which was free of charge last time I stayed there. I thing i will find another place to stay next time I visit Akureyri

Great location, a swimming pool around the corner, and helpful and very polite staff. Amazing bar and a good deal on happy hour.

The hotel should be clear about its facilities. I would rather know that the toilet door is made of glass and not closing completely. The open shower creates such condensation in the room that everything is covered with moisture. Unfortunately, the entrance door is not soundproof and it makes sleeping really hard especially if other guests are checking out early or kids are running there and back the corridor. We checked out one night earlier due to that.
