It’s location was the only good thing about it.

It was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever seen. Some bodily fluids on the walls, every corner was black, the toilets were disgusting, we found a cockroach in the bathroom, the windowsill was moldy & dirty. Not only that, but we ended up walking out of our ‘free breakfast’ that we paid extra for, because the waitress on duty didn’t seem interested in serving us at all… our family of 6 waited at the table for 30 minutes without even seeing the menu or being offered a coffee. We talked to her and she knew we were there. When we complained to the front desk, the lady put her head down & ignored us. Just horrible service ALL around. The only people who treated us decently were the ones trying to sell their packaged in the front & the man who helped with our luggage (I feel like I need to mention them, cause they were the highlight of our stay).

The location is exception and the facilities are very nice. My room was large and I had daily cleaning services, which I did not expect. There was hot water for showers which I also did not expect. A wonderful stay.

The wifi service was a little spotty at times. There are actually two systems, one which worked in my room and the other in the lobby. This was not explained when I checked in and it took a day to figure things out. Meanwhile I was using the lobby wifi on the balcony near my room which worked okay but wasn't as convenient when it rained.

This hotel is worth it ONLY and solely for the location.

the room was horrible, with no windows and extremely dirty. the floor was full of bleach which made me fall and they left someone else's stuff inside my room :( besides the bleach on the bathroom floor, the room overall was poorly clean. There are many other options on the same street. Run from this place.

Room was comfy and clean. Pool was nice to have in a city.

Could have had free breakfast and a laundry service but great value for money

The place needs a good clean. The floors needs to be steamed and washed.

The central location is good. The hotel is very well-presented and the heritage aspects well maintained.

There was no furniture inside the room that could be comfortably used as a chair. Also, the curtains on the high window were fixed shut, so that there was no way of letting in natural light except by opening the curtains on the large side-window, which meant everyone passing by in the corridor could see everything in the room. One of the beds was extremely squeaky.

Breakfast was awful, huevos rancheros consisted of two fried eggs with tomato ketchup. No electric sockets/outlets near the bed

Has been my to go to Hotel in Merida for many years. Large rooms, comfortable beds, large pool to soak the day's heat away. Good housekeeping. Can't get a better location.

A little shabby. Could use a coat of paint and some TLC but the rate is really low. The front desk staff could use a course in customer service especially the night guy with a bad attitude.

The pool, connecting rooms, called about item we forgot, location.

No blankets or towels or bottled water in one room until asked. Confusion about whether we'd paid for breakfast. Bathrooms smelled and taps were old and rusty.
