Hotel La Piazzetta was like a little oasis in the heat of Mérida. We stayed a couple of days and felt like home. Not only because it is a beautiful place but also because of the people who run it and work there. Thanks for the great stay!

Grâce à Léo, nous avons profité au maximum de notre séjour à Merida! On a adoré l’hôtel et ses nombreuses plantes vertes, la décoration chaleureuse, les chambres confortables et très propres. On s’y s’en bien et on a envie d’y rester plus longtemps ! Avec les recommandations de Léo, on a pu mangé dans les meilleurs restaurants de la ville, chaque repas plus délicieux que le précédent, des adresses connues ou moins. On remercie chaleureusement Léo qui a sublimé notre court séjour à Merida et qui nous a aidé à prioriser nos visites et sorties.

The staff was beyond hospitable and the facility itself was perfect. it’s a great location, easily walkable to all major downtown sites. Leo is the consummate host !

I wish I could have stayed longer !

Leo was incredibly nice and helpful. The room was nice and had doors which opened up to a view of the park opposite.

The room didn't have any windows besides the large main windows, which couldn't be left open during the day or at night.

Beautiful boutique hotel in a great location (5-10 min walking distance to the main square). The room, beds and shower were super comfortable, while the huge amount of tropical plants and antique furniture in the common areas give La Piazetta a tropical colonial feel. That said, the French owner Leo made the place a 10 for us! Not only was he super helpful, friendly and charming, he also looks a bit like a young Anthony Hopkins!

Only that we didn't stay longer

Very quiet despite being close to the city centre. Easy walk of a few blocks to cathedral, Paseo de Montejo , Parks , Museums, Restaurants etc

Cute little hotel tucked away on the sides of a little plaza not far away from the main sites of the historical center of Mérida. The room was really clean and well kept, ours was really quiet at night. The breakfast with coffee and croissants was an excellent start into the day, especially as Leo, our very attentive host, would share a lot of very useful travel tips. The common area at the entrance and the lush green backyard are great places to hang out or have a chat with the wonderful hosts. Leo, Giselle, Augustin and the whole team at La Piazzetta have made our stay in Mérida feel like a home away from home - thank you very much!

Nothing, our stay felt too short! :-)
