We used this hotel for close proximity to train station. Great value for what's on offer. Fantastic restaurants a walk away. Perfect for our needs!

Easy walking distance from the train station. My room was nice and quiet. Plenty of space for one person, perhaps a little on the small side if there were 2 people. The bathroom is small but adequate and modern. This is a mini fridge in the room.

Dated decor but other than that cosy and comfortable for a quick 1 night stay.

Location, staff, breakfast

Great location, a little dated, but clean. Bed was two singles pushed together and only one pillow each and one small cushion each.

At this price, the Hotel de la Poste is very good option. It is conveniently located close to the train station. The hotel decor is a bit dated, but because this is Switzerland, the room was spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and efficient, the elevator was helpful, the mattress was comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was good, and the breakfast buffet was convenient when you're in a hurry to catch a train.

The only negative is that the pillows are sad, flat, little things; not much stuffing and only one per person. With more or fuller pillows, we would have slept better (the bed was good otherwise).

The staff was really nice. I hadn't realized that the door code was engraved on the room key late at night when I wanted to go back to the hotel, so I called the hotel emergency hotline and I was very pleasantly surprised at how quickly the call was answered.

Unfortunately, I got a room on the street side and this was noticeable early in the morning because I had the window open overnight. However, the hotel can also nothing about it.

Good value for money. At this price point the expectations were met and slightly exceeded. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of decent quality.

Decor is dated but was this expected. Everything else was fine.

Very central hotel. Quite ‘old fashioned’ but fine for a comfortable night’s stay. Bed comfortable. Shower fine. No air-conditioning but windows open. Didn’t have the breakfast but went to nice cafe next door.
