The hotel was centrally located and easy to get to. Allowed me to drop off my bag very early in the morning and come back to check in later.

It was a bit noisy being on the main road.

Service, breakfast buffet, cleanliness and location (just next to Anshandao subway station line 1).

The gym was too small, second treadmill not working. Wasn't a problem as a solo traveler but might be for couples or if there's another person using the first one.

The cleaning staff is very nice. There is a laundry room in the hotel so it is very convenient for those who want to stay longer in Tianjin.

The air-conditioner and the shower need to be fixed. It is quite hot in the room during summer. And the shower water is a bit too hot as well.

The hotel is beautifully located next to Anshandao Metro, Line 1, (Red) and is walkable to the many shops, restaurants, bars, malls, and other attractions within the Heping area. You can easily walk or take a bike to Jinjie Street, a range of shops and restaurants. In addition, you are close to Porcelain House, Zhangxue Liangjiuzhai - the historical home of Commander Zhang, and other places, including the Roman Catholic St. Joseph's Cathedral, also known as the Xikai Church. The hotel is also only 4 stops from Tianjin Railways Station, which I found very convenient. Tianjin has 3 railway stations. The room was clean, spacious and with a comfortable bed. The hotel staff were always polite, friendly, and helpful. I would stay again due to the location and good value for money.

I have stayed at this place once before due to its location and overall good value. However, the breakfast is very disappointing in my view. I know it is unfair to compare the Holiday Inn Express Tianjin Heping with their Dongzhimen branch in Beijing, which has a great breakfast providing western and Asian choices, but I wish they could work on this. The food quality is worse even though there is some choice but less than in the capital as you might expect.

The hotel has a convenient location near the subway station. The hotel is very clean and the price is reasonable. The staff are very nice, hospitable, and always willing to help. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling either for leisure or for work.

The quality of the toilet paper and slippers are not very good.

The location is great and a walkable distance to shops, restaurants and malls. Hotel staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms are a decent size and comfortable and had a good view of Heping and Tianjin.

Although there was quite a range of foods for breakfast, the food quality was disappointing to me. The fruit juice was tasteless; fried eggs were hard and unappetizing. Although I didn't expect the same standard as the Holiday Inn in Dongzihmen (Beijing) and other locations, this was my main disappointment.

This is probably our fifth time staying in this hotel. We like it a lot. It is super close to the subway station and very close to the commercial area of Tianjin. Hair conditioner is provided besides of hair shampoo and shower gel. Also, we love the laundry room! Overall, it is good value for money.

Nothing to complain as the price is reasonable enough.

Excellent location, comfortable rooms with a city view, great value - and it was nice to have a fridge in the room!

Mostly Chinese food but the Western breakfast was terrible, and the Chinese food wasn't much better.
