Very comfortable bed and spacious room.
The hotel placed a fan in the room. We arrived late to the room and realised the fan didn’t work. We had our daughter of 6months with us and the room was warm, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep. We had to open the window but there was quite some noise from the bars outside. Next time is important to test the appliances before placing them.

The hotel refused to wait for the guests who were at dinner so they had no room and had to return home. in fact they told the guests, don’t bother we won’t be here! Very poor service! Rude -

Very charming hotel in a gorgeous stone building with beautifully renovated rooms ( with A/C) . Perfect location in the historical centre of Aix-les-Bains.
French breakfast was delicious and includes a selection of home cooked and local products. The hosts are exceptionally nice and welcoming. I had a very enjoyable 4 nights stay at the Hôtel de La Couronne and I am looking forward already to my next visit ! Thank you !

The owners do what they can with the old building but lack funding to obtain upgrades to amenities. It was only chosen based on its location after my AirBnB was found unacceptable.
It is a 2 star hotel, so within that context, it was OK for a short time with weather being pleasant. There is NO AC and design is old-fashioned much like French hotels were decades ago.

We arrived late in the evening. It was a little dificult to find.

Friendly and helpful staff, perfect location in the very heart of Aix-les-Bains, nice atmosphere of an old French building.
Absence of an elevator is quite a big inconvenience, so it is only accessible for fit persons.

Close to the center of the city and to the train station.
The facilities / room were clean.
The noise outside in the evening.
Poor isolation (but a fan was available).
Don't forget to lock the door.
The breakfast was expensive.
