Check out is very early at 10:00 at list must make it at 11:00. We stay till 10:20 and person from cleaning service just knocked our door and said we have 10 min to leave.... I was sure that check out at 11:00 but anyway the person was not so friendly...

Absolutely delightful stay and location. We stayed 2 nights and everything perfect. The room was charming, the staff charming. Easy walk to downtown Bamberg. Would recommend to all. No elevator and all rooms upstairs. LOVED IT!

Pretty and large room with character, large bathroom, and real plates and cutlery. Typical old town building layout.

The single-wrapped whole grain bread doesn't go too well with the jam and honey as a complimentary in-room breakfast, but is a great late night snack with the sausage spread. Grab fresh rolls from the bakery a few doors down the street for breakfast to enjoy the sweeter stuff.

We enjoyed being close to all the sights. Everything was easy to reach by foot.

It was very noisy. Construction and trash removal started very early in the morning. Partying in the streets ended very late - long after 1 in the morning.

It was a fantastic location, very well run by management as well. They were friendly and helpful and the room was really lovely, and most importantly the location is truly fantastic. Right in the heart of old town, surrounded by lovely restaurants and shops, right by the river. I cannot recommend staying here enough.

The weather was hot (in the 80's F) and there was only one small fan which was ineffective at cooling down the room. At night, when it was cooler, we wanted to leave the windows open but the street noises were too loud and kept us up. People were partying on the street outside our window. Also, the curtains were barely big enough to cover the windows during the day when the sun was shining hot so the room never did cool down. We left a day early due to inability to sleep and they refused to give us a refund even after staying there for 3 nights already. The room is nice (apparently we were upgraded?), late check-in was smooth, the location (other than noise) is great, but the flexibility of staff was lacking. Also, parking was an issue but they do disclose that on their site. It was very hard to find a spot even in the paid parking areas. Bamberg is a super cute town with lots to see but it's also a college town and many young partiers especially with the dance club just down the street from this hotel. The access street was blocked by dozens of drunk kids when we rolled in at midnight from a delayed flight which was distressing, we had to walk a couple of blocks to the hotel after parking in a spot we hoped wouldn't get us towed (we didn't and moved the car early in the morning). Overall our visit to Bamberg was good and we made the best of it but wouldn't stay here again.

We have got a free upgrade! Very appreciated indeed😊 The room is nice and cosy, especially with the unique designed lightning. Check-in and Check-out is super easy without personal contact. The location is right in the center of the old town, very convenient to access all sites you want to see and stroll.

The location was great. The rooms were interesting, a rather quirky style, definitely unique. A lot of care and attention has been put into the decor

The kitchen matched the description on the website but needs updating. Also, we stayed in one of the 2 bedroom apartments but unfortunately the only way into the bathroom was through one of the bedrooms so isn't completely private

Loved the quirky decor of the room and it was larger than any room we stayed in of our 8 hotels in Germany! The lady who checked us in was extremely helpful in sharing the must-do spots in Bamberg. Walking to everything was so easy!

My only complaint would have been the noise during the night, but it wasn't a deal-breaker on wanting to stay there again. Being in the heart of the social scene means noise from the streets on a Friday night, and a few rowdy guests returned to their rooms in the early morning.

I choose this hotel because the location. I was not expecting such a pleasant surprise with the room and kind details in.

We were in the back of the house so we heard no street noise. Great location. Parking close by. Everything in walking distance. Nice little pub/restaurant just in front of the entrance.
