The only sad thing was the outside light to the door we needed to go in was broken and couldn't be fixed for us, we had to use our phone flashlight to see the keypad. The rest of the stay was wonderful!

The pictures make it look ideal but once there it was not. Many items broken such as outdoor chairs, lamp switches, coffee table. In addition after one day there I noticed my kids feet were black. I took a shower and stepped on carpet and my feet turned black as well. The carpets clearly need ripped out. However, the service was great and they were very responsive to any phone call. Family had a great time. House just needs some TLC.

#97 was very clean and tidy with wonderful decorative touches. Two full bathrooms allow for a family or group to stay in comfort. The back porch and table were nice to sit out and enjoy the May weather. Thank you to Island Club for a great stay! Order the golf cart, they'll bring it right to your house!

The house had a wet dog smell and the couches stunk. luckily someone had room spray with them. other than that the house was sufficient. Nothing like I expected it should be advertised as cabins in the woods not Island Club homes.

We have stayed several times on island and multiple times island club cabins. Location was great as always. At 1st glance everything was nice. However it was far from value we paid. 1st thing toilet paper holder was laying on floor.Our 1 year old grandson, was crawling around on the floor playing with his toys for less than 5 mins and was black from all the dirt. We mopped the whole kitchen and living room. Went to make food on gas grill and burners would not heat up. Couldn't get past 100 deg. Brought all the food in the house cooked hamburgers and hot dogs on the stove, Grease mess to cook on the stove. Went to clean up and no dish cloths, sponges, soap, towels. Nothing!! It was horrible. Made a trip to store. 3 am ,the grandson was awake go out to the kitchen and bugs everywhere. coming in the entry door. You could see gaps where they were coming in. The lights were drawling them in, I assume. Over all very disappointed and un sure if we are willing to try it again. I would give overall grade a C-

Property is perfect for young people who are interested in partying. For those who are over 65 it isn’t as appealing.

The property was easy to check into and in a good location. However, the places wasn't the cleanest. The floors left our feet black and there were ants and spiderwebs in a couple places. The blankets also didn't smell the gratesest. Also having to bring our own towels and stuff kinda sucks. You would think for the price I paid a lot more would be included.

Enjoyable stay
I'm very happy we stayed at this rental. For the most part, it was clean. There were a couple small issues, but their customer service is amazing. I called them and 15 minutes later, the cleaning crew showed up to take care of the minor issues. We will definitely be staying again next time we visit Put In Bay

So we just wore shoes as much as possible and used wipes on kids feet before bed. Just something to keep in mind if you book it. Overall the place was just fine for what we needed. Thanks!

A friend and I decided we were sick of working from our houses and wanted a change of scenery. Since we both live in the Cleveland area, we knew PIB would be a great local getaway that could provide us with some after-work fun! The condo we rented was super cute and the wifi worked perfectly! They had a great layout for us to set up our computers, work throughout the day (with the occasional margarita lunch ;)), and then go enjoy the nightlife! The cottage itself was peaceful and idyllic for those looking for a change of pace without spending an exorbitant amount of money. Great value, would highly recommend! If working from the condo, I highly recommend setting up shop on the back picnic table!

Customer service before arrival was great! When we arrived it was the end of the mayfly season and everything was covered with dead or half dead bugs outside but inside too. The floors were sticky, 3 sliding glass doors with no locks and we were not told to bring bath mats, dish towels, paper towels or soap. We had an unfinished closet in the kitchen and the sliding glass door in kitchen came off the track when we opened it to go out. Walls and woodwork were in the midst of being repaired, patches were not painted over the repairs so it had an :under construction look. Showers and sinks did not drain well and no instruction as to how to work the TV or station ID''s.

I booked this unit for a family gathering, not many units can accommodate 10 people so that worked very well. It is a nice unit close to the pool and the downtown area in Put-in-Bay. The inside was fairly clean but the outside could have used some cleaning. Be it the spider webs on the doors and railing or the pizza box and corn cobs that were left on the lawn.

Only have 1 concern...I had called 2 separate times asking about upgrading a golf cart for 6 people vs the 4 that was provided. A very kind person on the other end told me I could do that when I got to the rental...only to find out that there was not one suggestion would have been to upgrade OVER the phone earlier so this didn't happen. It was very hard to transport 5 people in a 4 person cart. Understandably I know it was a holiday weekend but reserving the cart 6 weeks ago when I called the first time would have alleviated this problem. Overall, the stay was very nice and would return to this property on another occasion.

This is the 4th time we have stayed at the Island Club and the 2nd time at Villa 97. The Villa accommodated 3 couples very well. The deck on the back of the house is spacious and surrounded by trees for added privacy. The house was clean, with the exception of the Mayflies that enjoy Put In Bay a few weeks each year! I would recommend renting a golf cart to fully enjoy the island. If you rent it from Island Club it will be waiting for you upon your arrival. Overall a great place to stay that is very close to the main strip.

Our first vacation to Put-in-Bay was a lot of fun. Our family had four cabins, all very close to one another, in a great location. For the $$$ charged for a five day stay, our cabin could use some TLC, better window treatments, general updating overall. Not sure who is responsible for housekeeping, prior occupants or rental agency, but floor had not been mopped and glass kitchen table must have been cleaned with dirty rag, as it was streaked with grime. Not sure if bed covers had been washed, so did not use them. After two days of smelling something foul, we discovered a throw pillow from the couch in the washing machine full of vomit. Left by last occupants?? Was meant to be washed by rental agency housekeeping and forgot to turn washer on??? It was Gross!! We left the cabin far cleaner then we found it. It was the right thing to do.

We had a wonderful trip the house was great. Little disappointed about the overflowing trash bins everywhere that were not emptied all weekend. I did call, they advised someone would be out to empty it, that didn't happen.
