We had wonderful rooms overlooking the river and were serenaded by a wide variety of beautiful birds. Went for a "quick" swim in the pool at the campsite, as the water was pretty cold.
We spent the rest of the afternoon reading on the porch surrounded by the sounds and smells of nature.
No complaints, although to drive the few kms off the main road is a little jolting to your car's shocks.
Oh well, the cost of "getting away from it all.".

Beautiful location, quiet in a natural setting. The pool is right after the long trip. The beef curry sold at the reception is divine. What a sunset!

The pristine bush and the location next to the river bed (Tati, I think), the beautiful bird walk, the immaculately tended property (chalets and camping grounds), attention to detail, the friendly owners, Mike and Anne.

Perfect stopover when travelling from South Africa into Botswana. Place is beautifully kept and the pool was perfect

Woodlands Lodge is an outstanding facilitiy. Completely worth driving out of your way to get to.
The staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful. There are meals to purchase at reception that are easy and excellent. We will definitively will come back.

Nice quiet spot with beautiful green lawns and lots of shade. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There are frozen meals and braai packs available.

There was a shop with frozen meals that could be heated in the microwave. Otherwise we would have been struggling for a decent dinner. The site was beautiful and peaceful. Great pool with changing rooms and showers.
Far away from any restaurant... too far to drive up and down for a meal. Quite a distance from the main road turn-off. That was a surprise.
