4.1
Realmente no mucho.

We enjoyed staying and the staff was very forthcoming and nice.
The breakfast was very simple and we preferred to eat breakfast elsewhere.

The hostal is really nice and well located. The working people were here to help us !
The noise of the bed and the street.
4.1
good position, city centre. taxi services
very noisy street, windows couldn’t get closed
4.1
Gorgeous building with everything you need for a short stay. Clean & hot water.
Kitchen available to use, great breakfast and water to purchase downstairs. Very helpful staff and good price for taxi to airport from hostel.
Obviously street can be noisy due to city centre location - as with everywhere in Quito.
4.1
amazing value, staff all very nice, comfy bed, close to transit, hot showers, kitchen, and breakfast included - great stay

Great location and loads of places to eat nearby. Rooms at back are nice and quiet. Huge room very comfortable. Breakfast typical of Ecuador.
Its a bit dark in the communal area so no where to socialise
4.1
The place is comfortable and has character.
If I stay again I may ask for a room in back.

Very nice hostal and they are very helpful and communicative. Had a comfortable night here. Its a bit loud towards the streets but if you close the window and use earplugs its all good..airport service also worked perfectly. Would come.back, muchas gracias!

Location, very helful staff, good wi-fi, hot water, good breakfast. I felt like staying in a museum in the positive sense if thr word, meaning-a very authentic place
4.1
Great breakfast, cosy single rooms, respectful staff and fellow guests, and a nice garden to relax in.
My "only" one criticism is very minor, but it would help to have toilet roll in the bathrooms. I have to ask for a new toilet roll every 2nd day, and when men have peed all over the seat I use a third of a roll just so I don't sit on pee! (This has actually happened during my last stay...)
Apart from this I enjoy this hostal and am booking another 2 week stay.

This is my second stay at this hotel. I stayed for five nights several years ago while traveling solo around Latin America. While the hotel is still perfectly suitable for me, it wasn't quite as comfortable for my older parents. (see below) I still love the old building, the location, the free breakfast, and shared kitchen access. When we checked in, the receptionist let us see and choose from the available rooms so we could decide which would be best for us.
For my older parents, this wasn't the best place for them. The winding stairs, tiny shower stall, and loud noise from the street all night long was a bit too much.

Can't do day trips that start early as they only unlock the gate at 6h30 not 6am as they say. Staff are not very helpful. Facility a bit run down

I liked it great quirky historic style. I had a budget single room woth shared bathroom it was cute.
Staff were helpful breakfast was good, simple but affordable cafe next door with friendly staff.
I felt safe enough walking around im the day but took their advise not to go out alone at night.

it’s really central, the staff is sooo friendly and helpful. the taxi service from airport works very well and the informations are really good. really warm showers. 😊
the rooms to street are a little bit loud, you should use ear plugs

Staff were really nice. Location was perfect. WiFi was good. Great breakfast. Safe place to keep you bags if needed on checkout day.
We didn't find anything about the curfew on booking.com, so please be aware. Would be better if breakfast went on later than 9am.

Only bad thing the location is in a pretty dangerous area.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, doing everything possible for the guests to have an amazing stay. The place is huge, the rooms are cozy, the shower is hot and has great water pressure. The breakfast is included, fruit, egg, bread and marmelade as well as a juice and coffee or tea. The location is good, in the historic town and just next to the famous La Ronda. The hostel has a garden as well which is really nice to relax a bit from the busy city. The price is great for what you get!
Everything was perfect!

Very welcoming and attentive hosts in a beautiful building. Our room was lovely and big with a big comfy bed.
The breakfast was very good.
The hostal is located in the historical centre, directly next to a bus stop. It was very easy for us to take the C4 bus directly from the Quitumbe terminal to stop Santo Doningo for only 35 cents! The ride takes about 30 minutes.
There are a fair few places to eat within walking distance.
Also, for anyone who is safety conscious staying in Quito, the staff have to buzz you in and out of the building so it was very secure. You are not waiting outside for more than all few seconds.

We are travelling with our adult daughter. The room was large, 3 beds, 2 single and one double. Mattresses and bedding were comfortable, and clean. Great hot shower.
Very good hot breakfast.
Walking distance to historic attractions.
All the front desk staff are extremely polite, professional and helpful.
This colonial hotel is very beautiful, with inlay wood floors and antique styling.
It was noisy at night as it is beside a main street. We didn't mind this too much and it became quieter between 1 am and 5 am.
4.1
Good service. Breakfast is very rich.
A desk should be added in the room to facilitate the use of computers.
