Generally tired and bland decor, loft room very warm and poor ventilation due to skylight only. Expensive for quality of hotel.

So clean and well organised with a good breakfast, perfect ensuite-bathroom and very professional hosts

In room, could have had enough milk Uht mini cartons etc. but got some more when we asked.

Lovely hotel, ample parking and perfectly placed for all shops bars and restaurants.

The breakfast was very good, both in quality and quality.

Breakfast was excellent, with a lovely cooked option too. The room was very well-appointed, with plenty of storage space, excellent shower area, and good selection of tea, coffee and biscuits. Quiet location, but the windows wouldn't open properly (sash) so it was rather stuffy. Good blackout curtains though. Mattress was a little soft for our taste, but the bedding was very warm and pillows comfy. All staff very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast lets down the elegance of the hotel. The cold items greeted you on the individual tables clingwrapped which felt a bit like an inflight meal.

great location in the town centre , friendly staff , lovely cooked breakfast , though we didn’t eat in the restaurant , the bar area had a lovely vibe to it and the drinks prices reasonable .

Everything was great, the team, the room and the value for money! Cain was really helpful when we arrived... we will definitely stay again! Location is amazing for going into the town.

Nothing we didn't like. Only scored facilities slightly lower as shower was too short to use but we picked an attic room and there was a good size bath!

The lady who runs the hotel was lovely and very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble

Low ceilings in the room we were in. My boyfriend is over 6ft, so this was a bit awkward for him.

I appreciated the private car parking, the warm welcome and the excellent breakfast.

The bed could have been firmer - they were quite squishy and not really to my taste. Breakfast could have been served slightly earlier too - especially for those wanting to get off for a hike and to make the most of the day.

Bathroom seals around edging could be renewed for cleaner effect
