The location is excellent and convenient. It is 18 min from the 'Yoda cave' (Gígjagjá cave by Hjörleifshöfði), walking distance to zipline meeting point, Soup Co, Lava show, Vik Horse adventure, Black Beach, etc. The apartment was very clean, well-maintained and a relief (after crammed accommodation at a previous hotel). My husband and son made waffles from the batter left in the refrigerator. The host greeted us on arrival and called in her friendly, well-spoken daughter to make sure communication was smooth. * We had booked late (only 3-4mo in advance for busy July) and this was one of the few places available (and even then because someone probably canceled). It would not have been my first choice since we have rarely done airbnb-type places or guesthouses, but I am so glad that the 'stars in the universe aligned' and brought us here. We stayed in the 2BR apt.

We had to take our shoes off inside, which is inconvenient but reasonable given all the outdoor activities. Our apartment was separate from the other guests, but we could hear them through the shared wall. My teens complained to us about the noise, but everyone eventually got to sleep. I appreciated that the host listed 'Quiet hours', probably to address this type of issue. It all worked out.

The apartment is attached to the owners house, so she's usually available for anything you might need. Wonderful location, and the place is equipped with anything you might need! Very clean beds are super comfortable!

We liked everything about it. The owner was very helpful. She kept for us home made jam and cheese and waffle mix for breakfast. She provided plenty of coffee and cookies. She was an exceptional host. We were a family of four and we felt at home. I strongly recommend this guesthouse to all visitors looking to stay in Vik.

The facility of the Guesthouse is excellent. We were so lucky to get a "very very budget price" to rent this excellent guesthouse at Vik. The lady owner is very nice. She prepared waffle batter for us for the morning breakfast. She also provided homemade jam for us. This is the best Guesthouse during our stay at Iceland.

This is a lovely guesthouse right in the center of Vik. We stayed at the isolated two-bedroom apartment and couldn't wish anything more for our accommodation: spacious, clean and warm (it was rather chilly outside) place with all the amentities needed to cook at home and relax after a long day of exploring Iceland. The owner was sweet enough to prepare some dough for waffles and leave us some homemade cheese and jams. The location is perfect, just 900m from the shopping center with a huge supermarket. When I come back to Vik again (this is my fourth time in Iceland) and this place is available, I would definitely book it again. I loved it.

The apartment is perfectly walkable, easy to find, spacious, and well stocked. The owner is helpful, kind, and generous - providing homemade jam and marmalade and waffle mix. She also made it very easy to help adapt our plans once the weather delayed us a day.

We received the warmest welcome on a bad travel day. The accommodation was spotless and very comfortable. There was waffle batter made for the morning along with homemade cheese and jam. An exceptional stay topped off by great dinner recommendations.

The waffle mix with homemade jam and cheese was amazing. We drove through a blizzard to get there and arrived in the morning and checking in was no problem. Facilities had everything we needed and were very clean! Location was awesome (brewery and restaurant just down the hill) and with the heavy snow, Gudrun and Emil were very helpful in telling us where to park and when to get supplies. We were in a 2 room separated apartment and were alone the first day and it was just like home. Perfect place to be snowed in at!

The Guesthouse is wonderfully decorated by the lady.

The car had to be parked at a small distance so as to leave early in next morning. This was necessary because the road leading to the Guesthouse had chances to have snow covered roads by the next morning which would make them impassable and we could have been late then. The lady advised us to park it away in order for us to leave at the time we want. We had to walk in chilling snow with our luggage in the morning to the car park. This was a little pain.

The guesthouse is new and very clean. Kitchen is fully equipped. You'll find also coffee, tea, biscuit and basic stuff you need for breakfast (the lovely owner gave us waffle to be cooked). Raccomanded!

For us this is the best place to stay in Vík. We have been here 3 times and we definitely plan to come back. The owner is soooo nice, the rooms are cosy, the decorations are cute, everything is clean, the kitchen is well equiped and the waffles with homemade jam are sooo good. Also the location is great. Definitely recommend to stay here.

Everything was perfect !

Had a great stay here. Room was lovely and cosy and we also had use of the kitchen and living room. You also have use of the kitchen and all cooking facilities. Breakfast is not included in the price but there is homemade jam and cheese for you use and also waffle batter for some homemade waffles which went down a treat. Delish. Cannot fault our stay here at all and our hosts were accommodating very informative about the area.
