We enjoyed our stay at the hotel . Staff were excellent, particularly in the restaurant , when we notified them one of party had a nut allergy , they were very considerate. We also had a wake up call for the Northern lights which was excellent.

It was only one night but the view, even though it was facing the road, was nice. They offered a wake up call in case an aurora appeared and thanks to that we got the chance of looking at one (dream come true). The breakfast was to die for, smoked salmon, crunchy bacon (my favorite) and loads of options refilled even if it wasnt over. 10/10 i give this hotel. We had dinner at a pizzeria and was amazing, the gas station is just crossing the street so you can fill up your car and hit the road. There is also a
Groceries store next to the hotel.

AMAZING stay at Hotel Kria, highly recommended! We loved the modern style, the comfortable room, the wonderful common area as well as games room, the convenient location, and the unbelievable breakfast. Will definitely recommend and hope to stay again upon our return to this beautiful country!

Friendly and accommodating staff. One block away from a grocery store. Sound-proofed walls. Mother-in-law next door did not hear a peep from our 1-year old who was not always quiet.

Love this property. It’s clean, stylish with awesome dining, bar and breakfast. They even offer wake up call for Northern Lights when sited. We were “thrilled” when we got the call from the front desk and got to see them. Highly recommend!

Excellent location for those traveling the south coast. The dining and common areas are very nice. The breakfast buffet had everything one could want and the staff kept it clean and replenished.

Nice hotel, good view facing the mountain and caravan park. However, too expensive for what it is worth. Selected this because it had EV charging, but the only point was awaiting repair and had to drive down the road to charge the rented EV car.

Great breakfast buffet in a gorgeous setting. Clean, sufficient rooms. Bathroom shower felt like an RV, but other than that, everything was great. Awesome location. The front entrance is a bit of a walk from the parking lot, and would be rough bringing in luggage if there was bad weather. We had a great stay and would recommend.

It was a nice stay but I find the idea that there is no covered entrance to the hotel given the weather in Iceland is really unacceptable. Iceland has so much open land but for some reason no need to make moving into a hotel a priority. Also there were no people helping with coming in with your bags and bringing them to the room. At this price point it is customary to have at least the option.

The hotel and rooms were lovely. Very good breakfast buffet. Front staff friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately i thought hotel was more isolated with better views. But not your fault what is built across the street. Would recommend.

New hotel but already showing signs of wear. Nice rooms and good restaurant but both below the standard set by other similar or less expensive rooms we stayed at in Iceland. Front view has industrial buildings between hotel and coast that were not well-represented in hotel materials or Google maps.

I booked what appeared to be the best accommodation in the area so I was willing to pay the very high price. Out room was tiny with rather uninspiring decor. I had booked a superior mountain view and received a room on the lower floor looking directly onto a crowded camping ground at the base of the mountain behind.
The dining room was nicely decorated and had a great view. Of the mountain. The food was tasty. Breakfast was very basic

Good location. Don’t see value for money. It’s 450pounds a night but basic necessities not met. Rooms are clean n basic. No air condition nor windows to open for fresh air. Only French doors tat cant be left open at night as it’s safety issue….its direct to road!
Breakfast is very average n not refilled regularly. You may not few items at times as it’s not refilled.

Nice hotel on Highway 1. Room was clean and updated. Game room was nice feature. Nice that they offer smaller snacks etc from room service rather than sit down meal in restaurant. Room faced west and got quite warm even with window open. Good breakfast.
