the flat it is sandwiched between the sea and the main railway line between Barcelona and Tarragona, with about 100 - 150 trains day and night. All photos in the advertisement are precision staged to avoid showing it. The photo show the view from the bedroom, with the track less than 15m away. The flat is a train platform with a view. The noise drowns out normal speech.

Absolutely stunning views from balconies. 4 balconies to choose from, and each has spectacular views with the apartment being right over the sea. The shared pool is beautiful. So close to beaches with beach bars and loos, and only a 10 min walk to the harbour with restaurants. Quadruple glazing meant railway noise was not a problem. Town is 25 mins walk but via the harbour its a lovely walk and there is a bus from harbour too. Sitges had all we were looking for, a bit of vibrancy but a lovely place to relax too.

You need to watch children climbing the stairs to the roof terrace. The main part of the flat is fine for kids as is the roof when you get up there! Unfortunately someone had dumped some smelly pollution on nearest beach but looked like people were trying to clear that up. It's so close to so many beaches that this was not a problem.

Location and views were stunning little bay and safe beach with life guard within a few minutes walk Our host Aurturo was very kind and took us in his car to the supermarket the first evening communicating via E mail worked very well The walk into Sitges centre either via the coast or the station about 2O mins and very pleasant Location is great if you want peace and quiet but still able to get into the town etc Trips to Barcelona very straightforward train and metro very easy and VFM (get a 10 trip ticket) Enjoyed the BBQ on the top terrace fab views 200 Euro deposit returned no problem Getting to Sitges on the Mono bus form airport very quick and easy

Problem with electricity when we arrived which was resolved by using an extension lead - these things happen though Second bedroom is a bit tight on space but OK for two wouldn't recommend 3 Could do with some loungers for the top terrace however great to have beach umbrellas Need new toaster have to hold down to toast very annoying - generally though we had everything we needed great to have the dishwasher and washing machine
