The room we get seem to be meant for couple with no privacy. The shower door is a transparent glass door and located right opposite the big mirror. It would be great if the hotel can install a blind to help provide more privacy option in the room

Jaya Suites is a beautiful place to relax and experience Machu Picchu. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful - our flight got canceled twice and they helped us re-book as needed. It's a plus that they pick you up from the airport. Dinner recommendations were also spot on. Thank you!!

We couldn't really get the bath tub jet streams to work, so that might require some re-assessment. But that didn't really impact our stay.

Great hotel, amazing staff, best location - bus to Machu Picchu can be reached within 5 mins by foot. we took the first bus at 530 am and the hotel even provided a box breakfast

Beautiful room, comfortable bed and pillows, great shower, very nice breakfast with spectacular views, helpful and friendly staff , great central location. views from front side rooms are amazing. I was on third floor .

The room was lovely, spacious with a powerful shower and relaxing. The breakfast was varied although we were in a rush to catch a bus to Machu Picchu. The staff were fantastic, special mentions to Angela and Fernando.

Perhaps a bit noisy but no real complaints.

Decent location.

Staff are horrible. We accidentally booked for an extra day and booking.com was willing to refund us as long as the hotel agreed. I asked in person they told me some nonsense saying it isn't possible. Just money grabbers, horrible service.

Hotel is located very near to the train station and all restaurants. Staff was very helpfull. Beds were confortable and breakfast very good.

My wife and I stayed here for our 30th wedding anniversary. What a wonderful hotel. The staff are all very professional and even met us at the Machu Picchu train station to carry our bags to our room. Victor was so professional and made us feel at home and made sure we had everything we needed. He helped with all questions about the Aguas Caliente and Machu Picchu area. Victor recommended an excellent restaurant and an herbal remedy to help with our high altitude side effects. Thank you Victor for your kindness!

What's not to like?

The breakfast at 5am was perfect - I was able to eat and get to the bus on time for my 7am entrance ticket to MP. We also were very thankful for being able to drop our things off on the day of arrival and on the day of check out.

One room did not have a bottle for a jacuzzi and another room had only one bottle. When we turned jacuzzi on the smelly water came out. my kids were looking forward to jacuzzi after a long hike in MP.

Location

The room didn't have a window to the outside. There was no ventilation. The beds were very hard. The noise in the hotel was very loud. I needed to wear earplugs to sleep.

The breakfast is good, and the staff is warm and nice. The room is clean and the shower room is nice as well.

Maybe I am biased but the high rating on booking.com does raise my expectation. It turns out this is an OK hotel (not meet my expectation at all). The booking.com says the hotel is 3star, and for some parts, it is (the cleaning, breakfast, etc.) But: 1. There is NO AC in the room. 2. There is no screen in the window so I cannot keep the window open during the night. 3. It has an open washing room. There is no privacy from the rest of the room. 4. The tiny elevator can hold 2 person (due to COVID, regularly it can hold 5) at each time. 5. No gym, no pool, and checkout at 10. 6. The room has NO lock. We got one stuff break-in without any notice in the early morning. What a surprise!!! Given there is no privacy in the shower room. What if I was taking a morning shower at that time? 7. I got charged for extra 13 dollars. I didn't check the charged amount with my booking rate.
