The location is great - right in the middle of town with a parking space, garden and views. A very well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge with games, books, jigsaws and smart tv.
The property was tidy and mostly clean but would benefit from a deep clean at this point in the season. The bathroom could do with an update although it was perfectly functional.

Great location right in town.
A smart, very clean, spacious and well equipped apartment.
Lovely views from living room.
Very peaceful and quiet.
Only one parking space available, which was very tight.
Third bedroom was locked on arrival and we were told we had to pay extra to have it unlocked. Managed to sort it out eventually (thank you Peter from the maintenance team) but it was a stressful start to our stay. Third bedroom is tiny and not really suitable for an adult.
A later check out time would be more reasonable.

A great location for the town centre/ in fact it’s in it.
Warm and comfortable and the only snags to our say were
A missing lightbulb in one of the bedside lamps.
The remote control for the bedroom TV was missing and was not replaced at the date of our leaving. The bulb Wes repacked within 4 hours in fairness but it was poor that it was not picked up by the service provider.

Very clean property , in a great location.
We booked a 3 bedroom property for 5 adults, which was confirmed in our booking. On arrival the property was configured for 4 adults with 2 bedrooms. The third bedroom was locked. I called the out of hours contact number and was informed that it would cost another £50.00 to unlock the bedroom! I complained to Cumbrian cottages, the letting agent but they refused to to refund my £50.00, informing me that my issue was with Booking.com. I contacted booking.com, who informed me thatI should be refunded the extra £50.00 which the letting agent demanded from us on top of our original confirmed amount of £499.00. As yet we have not received this refund. Disgraceful customer service. Cumbrian Cottages did not care and at no point apologised for our inconvenience.
