Imagine una gran villa blanca hermosa en el Algarve, bañada por la luz solar alrededor de una tranquila piscina climatizada. Puedes pasear por los terrenos cerrados y los jardines para encontrar un lugar sombreado y tal vez arrancar un limón de uno de los limoneros para tu G&T que tendrás al atardecer en la terraza de la azotea, escuchando tus canciones favoritas, mientras disfrutas del Impresionantes vistas al mar y montañas.
Quizás esté allí con sus seres queridos o amigos, disfrutando de una barbacoa en la piscina o encontrando su propio espacio tranquilo en una de las varias terrazas y áreas de descanso.
Tal vez por la noche, pasearás por la ciudad para decidir en qué fabuloso restaurante comer, mientras decides qué hacer al día siguiente. Juegue al golf en uno de los clubes cercanos o diríjase al club de tenis y al spa. O tal vez los niños querrán ir a uno de los parques acuáticos, si puedes sacarlos de la Xbox o del futbolín de la villa.
Vila Eira Dos Moinhos es una hermosa villa tradicional con una piscina privada de 10 x 5 metros (que se puede calentar por £ 150 adicionales por semana), ubicada en un gran jardín maduro con naranjos, limoneros y palmeras, en un terreno amurallado.
La casa, en una tranquila zona residencial de Carvoiero, está diseñada para la relajación total, la privacidad y el disfrute de parejas, familias de todas las edades o amigos que están de vacaciones juntos.
Ubicado en terrenos bien cuidados con arbustos maduros, palmeras y cactus en llamas, su ubicación tranquila también es ideal para quienes desean estar cerca de restaurantes, tiendas locales y a solo veinte minutos a pie de varias playas, o solo a unos minutos en automóvil. El campo de golf local está a solo 1,6 km.
Los amplios terrenos ofrecen mucho espacio para todos y pueden mantener la privacidad. El camino de entrada grande al frente está cerrado por puertas eléctricas, con un montón de estacionamiento para varios coches. Hay naranjos y limoneros, así como hierbas para aquellos que quieran aprovecharse.
La impresionante piscina es sin duda un punto culminante y se puede disfrutar durante el día y la noche con la iluminación ambiental recientemente instalada.
Para los más pequeños, hay puertas provistas para su tranquilidad, que se pueden utilizar alrededor del área de la piscina, así como los terrenos de la villa rodeados por paredes con puertas eléctricas en la parte delantera.
El interior de la villa es tradicional con toques contemporáneos, como una máquina de café Dolce Gusto en la cocina.
Ahora tenemos un futbolín para entretener a los niños (grandes y pequeños), así como una XBox.
Desde la cocina, el comedor tiene vistas que miran a través del valle hacia las montañas. También hay puertas de patio al patio interior, para algunas comidas al aire libre, donde hay una barbacoa, mesa y sillas y escaleras que conducen a la terraza. También hay una pequeña nevera al aire libre para mantener las bebidas frescas bajo el sol, para que no tengas que volver a la cocina.
La terraza de la azotea se ha reformado recientemente y ofrece vistas panorámicas al mar y a la montaña. Es el lugar perfecto para los amantes del sol, con vistas a la piscina y los jardines bañados por el sol, desde la comodidad de los sofás o tumbonas.
Hay varias áreas para comer al aire libre: en el área de la piscina hay 2 áreas de asientos grandes, una cubierta para aquellos que desean sombra para disfrutar de las comidas, mientras vigilan a los niños en la piscina. Adyacente a estas zonas de descanso hay otra zona de barbacoa.
La planta baja está inundada de luz a través de los juegos de puertas de patio que se abren hacia el patio interno y otra que da a la piscina. En la sala de estar, encontrarás un televisor de pantalla plana con una selección completa de canales en inglés, sofás de cuero con reproductor de DVD para que te hundas después de un día lleno de acción ... o un día descansando en la playa o en la piscina. Uno de los sofás se puede convertir en una cama, por lo que si hay 8 personas en su grupo, podemos acomodar a los 2 huéspedes adicionales por una pequeña tarifa diaria adicional.
Cada una de las habitaciones tiene puertas que se abren a terrazas con vistas a la piscina. El dormitorio principal se abre a una terraza con su propio comedor y la terraza de los otros dormitorios también tiene su propia mesa y sillas. Todas las habitaciones ahora tienen aire acondicionado.
Carvoeiro tiene una amplia selección de bares y una gran variedad de tiendas y restaurantes, que se encuentran a poca distancia de la villa.

Siendo la playa grande más cercana a Carvoeiro ya poca distancia a pie, es una buena alternativa a la playa en el centro de la ciudad.
Las instalaciones aquí son muy buenas, ya que las actividades en la playa, el restaurante y las concesiones se ejecutan bien y están disponibles durante los meses de verano.
Una de nuestras playas favoritas, Praia da Marinha, se encuentra a poca distancia en automóvil.
Esta playa ha sido elegida como una de las más hermosas del mundo y desde el momento en que sales del auto puedes ver por qué.
Recorre el bonito sendero que conduce a la playa, que ofrece increíbles vistas de las pilas al mar.
Debido a que es galardonado, la playa es muy popular, especialmente en la temporada alta, pero no dejes que esto te desanime, ya que hay mucho espacio para todos durante la marea alta, con una pequeña área de playa frente al restaurante y una más grande. área a la que se puede acceder en horas de marea baja, hacia la derecha.
Esta es una parte encantadora y familiar de la gloriosa costa del Algarve y en Vila Eira Dos Moinhos, le garantizamos una casa de vacaciones perfecta para disfrutarla.
El aeropuerto de Faro está a solo 45 minutos en coche. Traslado al aeropuerto y alquiler de coches se pueden organizar bajo petición.

What a fantastic villa, we were a party of 4 adults, 2 teenagers and a 2 year old. Doug was fantastic and helpful throughout the booking process answering all queries and assisting with the bed arrangements for our young son. The villa has so many areas that even in a big party you never feel overcrowded, there are several different area in which to eat, we found the centre courtyard where the roof access was the coolest in the evenings which also had a BBQ for us to use. When the teenagers wanted away there are several different balconies and of course the roof terrace with amazing views, which was also good for start gazing in the evenings. The pool was fantastic with shaded eating areas nearby and my 2 year old would several times a day insist we took him on a tour of the gardens to see the wonderful flowers, look for geckos and to see the lovebirds which nest in the large palm tree. We had 2 cars and the front area had plenty of room for them and for more with electronic gates for security. Piece of mind with the gates around the pool to ensure the little could not go down near the pool, unattended. The maid, gardeners, pool cleaners and TLC were all very friendly and helpful when they attended. There is an intermarche near by for your shopping and Carvoeiro beach was just a short drive away. This was such a fantastic holiday in an lovely villa with amazing views we are all looking to see if we could do it again as we would all love to come back to Villa Eira Dos Moinhos.

We were a party of 5, 4 adults and a 3 year old. The villa is approx 25 min walk from the town and in a quiet location. During the day relaxed by the pool and ventured into town in evening where there were varied types of restaurants to choose from (starter and mains with beer or wine ranges from 20 to 30 Euros). Taxi back approx. 7 Euro ( don’t forget to stock up on supplies for villa). Ventured to Praia do Vale de Centeanes beach one day, lovely and clean with a reasonably priced beach side restaurant. Prior to our visit and during the owner and management company kept in touch with us with good advice on villa and amenities. Taxi from and to airport arranged via management company was on time and hassle free. Had a problem with the pump to the swimming pool failing which cut out power to certain lights and sockets at villa, however, an electrician was sent out promptly and at the villa within 1 hour to sort out the power. The loss of heating to swimming pool was a small inconvenience ( through the pump failure) but the owner/ management company immediately reimbursed us for this loss on our return. Can’t fault the owner or management company.

"This is what a villa SHOULD look like" said the 14-year-old as we arrived. Even though it was past midnight, we couldn't resist a swim straightaway in the warm, well-lit pool.
We loved the space - so many different areas for our varied party, including the roof for romantic evenings and the courtyard for sheltered bbqs. Everything worked in the kitchen and bathrooms. We appreciated the coffee machine and the juicer - fresh oranges from the garden!
For the first 3 days we walked to Carvoeiro with its restaurants, sandy beach and shops, and to other lovely beaches, then we hired a car to explore. There's lots to do: 2 weeks would have been better!
It can get a little windy in the afternoons in May and we soon got into a routine of beautiful bay in the morning, pool party (excellent speaker) in the afternoon.
Recommendations - Slide and Spash was a great waterpark - loads of rides to amuse us (aged 13-60) and very clean with lots of grassy space for sunbathing. We had a very good meal at Vale Do Milho.

This property was recommended to us as a family stay and it didn’t disappoint. The whole booking process with Doug and Vrbo was faultless, as was his communication about the villa, directions and checking in process.
There is an abundance of outdoor space which the kids loved; exploring the gardens, collecting oranges and playing in the swings and the pool was a hit with the whole family.
The villa is clean and spacious and we enjoyed many a bbq in the courtyard, lunches by the pool and gin on the roof area while watching the sunset.
The villa is in a very quiet setting but was very close to Carvoeiro town/beach/restaurants and local supermarkets.
I would definitely recommend this property to anybody looking at the Carvoeiro area.

The Algarve is gorgeous & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Villa; it was just perfect for our quiet retreat.

The villa was spacious and catered well for families. The outside space was amazing; so many places to sit and read or to dine. We loved having our meals in the courtyard/ patio garden, weather permitting. We paid to have the pool heated and it was well worth it. The children aged 10 and 13 loved the pool and exploring all the outside spaces. We managed a couple of sundowners on the roof top terrace which was amazing. The seating up there was so comfortable. There were a few restaurants within walking distance but it's not too far to go into Carvoiero. Doug, our host gave us lots of information and the management company responded quickly to a problem we had. A car is essential to get out and about as there are so many beautiful beaches to choose from and some great walks over the boardwalks.

This is a beautiful villa. The hill top location offers 360 views. The ground are lush with palm trees and beautiful trees and bushes that are well maintained. The gated entrance with the private drive way is just a gorgeous preview of the villa itself. There are plentiful places/terraces/patios to enjoy during the day/evening including the roof terrace. The interior is cozy and a bit quirky, the outside spectacular. The pool is large enough to enjoy swimming. All amenities were as described. The property managers took care of (minor) problems the same day and where very helpful. There are no intrusive neighboring properties so you can enjoy full privacy. Shopping at the INTERMARCHE was very close and had an excellent selection of everything including wine! Excellent restaurants are 5-7 minutes away by car (Vila Nova, Vila Medici, Ghurka, Brasserie Rusal, Bistro Algar Seco) the Vale De Milho just 8 minutes by foot.
All in all 2 perfect weeks in a private paradise away from the bustle of Carvoeiro but close to the beautiful beaches and cliffs of the Algarve. We can only recomnend to come and stay!

We have been to Carvoeiro half a dozen times now and even married there back in 2015. My wife, children and myself all love it there. We have stayed at a few villas over the years and this one is right up there toward the top of the pile. The views from the roof are beautiful. There are no shortage of places to sit and chill. The courtyard is perfect for eating during the evening time once the sun has passed over and the roof is just amazing to sit with a few drinks as the sun goes down.
We were really grateful for the welcome pack of wine, beer, water, ham, cheese, bread etc. After a long day of travelling, its nice to have 'something' to drink upon arrival before doing the big shop.
The pool has an abundance of sun loungers with two sizeable parasols that actually do a great job of shading a large area for time out of the sun. Great for the kids when the sun is blazing down and they need a bit of time out.
Loads of towels provided both for the loungers/beach as well as for use in the villa. This was a massive bonus because previously we have used a lot of our weight limit taking beach towels in the cases.
The cleaner was lovely. She came twice during our stay and was super polite, and Nelson the pool guy, who we have met before, came to clean the pool when it started to get a bit cloudy. We made a quick call to the agent as we were concerned he wasn't due to come for a number of days. He arrived within 20 minutes and got straight to it. The water was crystal clear for the remainder of the stay.
Intermarche is around the corner and the town centre is within walking distance.
I will make mention of things that might need improvement, not that they detracted much from our stay but just because I think with these changes, there really would be nothing negative to say at all.
The air conditioning in a couple of the bedrooms could perhaps do with a service. They weren't getting very cold. Also the shower in the main bedroom en-suite was out of order for the duration of our stay. We all used the other bathroom to shower. Not exactly a deal breaker, but worth mentioning. The pool also isn't particularly deep. A benefit to some perhaps but we were extremely careful with the jumps and dives. There are signs stating 'no diving' due to the depth. We were mindful of this but didn't let it stop our fun.
Once again, a lovely, quiet, peaceful place to call home for a couple of weeks. Would 100% recommend and would certainly stay again.

We enjoyed a fantastic 2 weeks in July in this authentic villa. It was comfortable and spacious. The pool was huge. Easy to find and within walking distance of town. Lovely restaurant within a 5 minute walk called semi xo.
Easy to get a taxi into or back from the main town if you prefer not to walk.
Lots of great beaches close by.

The interior of the Villa was spotless and the exterior provided copious alternative view/ seating areas - highlighted by a beautiful pool. I know that Doug has embarked on an upgrading program which will only enhance the tranquil experience the Villa offers; which is perfect for a Family. We have already booked for next year.

Fantastic!
We had a great time here, there’s something for everyone, plenty of space, large garden, we barely left for the whole week.
The heated pool was the highlight though.
The arrangements and instructions were very clear and made everything very simple.
We will be back.

Family holiday
Just returned from this fabulous villa after a week long stay. The outdoor space and pool area were absolutely fantastic with a great pool and a seating area for sun or shade at all times of the day and evening. Communication and information was great and we enjoyed trying the restaurants recommended by Doug in his very detailed welcome information email. The villa is very well equipped if staying in to eat or only a 20 minute walk to the top of the town and a €6.50 taxi ride back. Will definitely return! Thank you

Enjoyable holiday
Property really benefits from large outdoor spaces with lots of different places to relax and a lovely pool in a quiet location. Enjoyed the roof terrace especially in the evening watching the sun set. A range of large supermarkets are near by ( 5 minutes by car) and a walk into town takes around 20 minutes.

Perfect family villa holiday
We had an excellent 2 week stay! The villa was lovely with a great pool and lots of outdoor space. Location is excellent, and the property owner very helpful and quick to respond. We can’t wait to return!

Fabulous outdoor space
We just returned from a week and loved the outdoor space. The pool was the highlight for the kids, while us parents enjoyed the roof top deck sunsets and the amazing views. We also loved that the house was decorated in a more traditional style and not all "ikea'd" out - really added to the atmosphere. The house is well located and a quick 3 minutes drive to town and the beach and near several other attractions to keep the family busy. Doug was very responsive and went above and beyond what we would expect a host to do. We had a terrific week and enjoyed seeing the area.

Relaxing stay in well located villa
A lovely property, in a relaxing and tranquil setting. It has a great swimming pool with lots of different external sitting areas both in and out of the shade. It’s located close to lots of restaurants within walking distance and close to the Algarve most picturesque beaches. We will definitely be coming back.

Lovely Traditional Portuguese Villa
Great Villa, plenty of room for our family of 4, and lots of outdoor space, the roof terrace was great for an evening drink.
The villa was well equipped and had everything we needed.
Carvoeiro is a lovely town, and if you don't want to drive in the evening there are plenty of taxis or uber options.
Two really picturesque beaches nearby well wort a visit are Carvalho Beach and Marinha Beach

Third stay here, an excellent villa in a superb location.
Another stay in this superb villa. Suitably located for a 20 minute walk into Carvoeiro and a 6 euro taxi ride home. The 3 bedroom villa has numerous locations to relax, by the pool, on the terrace or on the roof. Pool is a great size, we had it heated and used it everyday during our May break. Smart TV and x box available too. 3 supermarkets within easy reach. Communication with the owner was excellent, emails always answered promptly. Hopefully return very soon

Great time had by all
This was our first visit to Portugal, and we really enjoyed it. The villa was great, really spacious and well equipped, everything in good repair and clean and tidy when we arrived. There were only four of us, but the villa would comfortably accommodate six. The outside space is a great feature of this villa - all the different terraces around the villa and on the roof, the sheltered sunny courtyard, the swings, the citrus trees, and of course the pool. We didn't quite have the weather to be able to enjoy the rooftop terraces as much as we would have liked, but then this was April. We paid for the pool to be heated, which wasn't cheap but was well worth it because we were able to go in the pool every day - even the two days it rained!
Any downsides to the villa? Not really. The only thing I would mention is, I had trouble with the locks on two of the sliding doors - I couldn't get them to lock properly, a good firm yank would open them. This isn't really a problem because there are stout metal shutters outside every door and window, it just means that you have to go round closing all the shutters before you go out / go to bed (you will almost certainly have been round and opened them all earlier, because the villa is quite dark with the shutters closed).
We had a car and drove ourselves from the airport - the villa was easily found with help of Google Maps. The car was handy - it was useful for shopping trips to the Intermarche about a mile away, and we were able to visit Alvor and Villamoura, as well a theme park and Lagos Zoo - but I wouldn't say a car is actually necessary because we loved Carvoeiro itself. The town is in easy walking distance - we walked in three or four times, takes 15-20 minutes - and has everything you could need in terms of shops, bars and restaurants. We ate in a different restaurant every night, had a good experience in every one of them, and there are probably 20 or 30 more that we didn't get to try. The feel of Carvoeiro was just right for us (family with children aged 10 and 12) - we liked Alvor and Villamoura for different reasons, but I think we will definitely base ourselves in Carvoeiro when we return to Portugal.

Beautiful Villa
Lovely villa with lots of excellent areas for sitting out in sun or shade, the gardens were well manicured and we had freshly squeezed oranges in the morning from the tree in the garden.
Bedrooms are spacious, the kitchen has everything you need and it has a cracking bbq in the courtyard which we used.
Would recommend having a car.

Great! Everything you needed for a fabulous, relaxing holiday. The roof terrace was our favourite.
We had such a good time and although we did get out and about in the mornings we loved just relaxing around the fabulous pool area. Food at the Thai Elephant was excellent and would highly recommend this very friendly restaurant. Fabulous holiday with some great memories!
