As instalações do quarto são muito boas. A cama extremamente confortável.

Escolhemos um quarto com vista para o mar e a vista era na lateral do quarto. De frente mesmo ficavam outras varandas de outros quartos.

Poorly flushing toilets, the spa was nice but masseuse poor, the room service was good but a bit unpredictable.

Th location of the hotel is great with direct access to the hotels own beach club on Copacabana. The restaurant of the 6th floor is also offers a great view but only if you sit outside. Good security system and very efficient stuff.

Coffeee at breakfast does not match the level of the hotel. Although in general breakfast is great. Also, the fact that the hotel has 2 pools does not help as both pools are no for swimming, They are far too small and you can only stay with the drink in your hand not more.

One of the cleaning staff stole $1,700 from room while we were at breakfast. Management "so sorry. We will look into it and nothing else. Very sure of this as had counted money in personal position from time taken out of bank until we went to breakfast. Asken cleaning people on floor no to go into room. When got back found a different cleaning person in the room. Case with the money had been opened as cord sticking out,

The Fairmont hotels really do pride themselves on luxury and this one in Rio topped the lot. The staff here go the extra mile for you, for example they brought around complimentary cold scented towels from the spa whilst we were sunbathing around the pool. They also gave us glasses of bubbly when walking past reception on more than one occasion, and these little touches really make the stay special. The breakfast is delicious with lots of pastries, hot dishes and fruits to enjoy whilst looking at the glorious view of Copacabana beach and Sugarloaf Mountain. These views are the best on Copacabana beach by a mile and with the pool over looking this too, you can spend all day staring at it with a delightful Pina Colada made from the bar. The rooms are very big and so are the beds, they’re extra comfy and we were actually sad to be leaving as we loved sleeping in those beds. the shower is powerful and is a waterfall style shower with lovely smelling shower gel. The smell of the hotel is amazing too, which I think is a Fairmont staple as other Fairmont hotels I’ve been to smell fantastic. I cannot recommend this hotel enough if you’re thinking of staying in Rio, with lots of things to see and do in Rio, this really is the best place to come back to everyday!

We had a perfect stay, there was nothing we didn’t like.
