It was nice! Staff, cleanliness, location, beds. But it was clear that the rooms and the whole hotel are from the 90ties-a kind of sad air of ”lets try to just keep on with this” The yellowpainted walls in a 90style, the poor no-one-has-bothered-to-concider-the-furniture-and-decorations because the customers are to poor to notice or bother. Breakfast was outstanding!

Great location with the city within easy walking distance. The breakfast was really good - one of the best ones in a while. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel was cozy and clean - some parts were in need of a renovation/redoing but some parts had been modernized (interior in the common areas etc.).

The hotel was a bit outdated and old in some parts. You can see it’s an old hotel. Still, everything was clean and working.

Late check in after 2300 requires to inquire extra, as there is no more staff, so you need to be informed of the door code. My written inquiry got no reply, so I had to call the hotel. However, staff is very reliable, I found my envelope with the room key exactly at the location where advised. Until then, I was a bit tense whether things would work out as advised. Yes, it did. But my being tense is something that males me uncomfortable.

Nice breakfast. Nice spacious rooms. Good location close to port, ferry and central old town.

No aircon. The weather was with warm summer nights.

The hotel is ideally located, just on the outside of the Visby wall. Therefore, you’re close to everything but not in the crush of the old town. The hotel has a good breakfast and a sauna.

Some rooms are now getting quite old and require some updating.

We stayed twice in this hotel, traveled by bike with a toddler and a small dog. We received great help and kindenss. The staff is very helpful. Also a huge thank you to the cleaning staff, who was patient, helpful and very professional. The breakfast is perfect, great variety also for who likes sweets!

The first room we stayed in was a bit less appropriate for a toddler (he could climb to the window! Because windows are lower than usual, which gives a nice character to the place but is really dangerous for the little ones). If you travel with bikes/trailers, the elevator is small so it does not allow to carry trailers up easily. The staff will help you figure out where to store your property in safety!

Breakfast was amazing. Staff was so helpful to us, we are American and they assisted numerous times including with renting a car. Very charming hotel close to all the great sites in town. Walkable to everything in Visby. We couldn't have asked for more on our honeymoon!

Good location right outside the old city in a quiet place, close to the ferry terminal, bus terminal and a big supermarket. Spacious room, clean facilities, comfy fluffy beds. The hotel is very cozy and the breakfast is good! The room has a sea view which was very pretty!

The windows provide no sound insulation. Our room faced a parking lot with noisy tourist buses and people chatting around them, and also a popular picknick spot, so no evening privacy unless you keep the curtains closed haha :)) The room interior was rather worn. I find the hotel rates overpriced. No safe or fridge in the room.

Great location near the walls and parking available. Pleasant and quite large rooms.Good choice at breakfast with the possibility to sit outdoors

Staff in the breakfast room spoke very little Swedish or English . The lay out of the breakfast buffet could maybe be improved as queues formed quite quickly and I personally am not attracted to the idea of my marmalade mixing with herring. Chairs in bedrooms were not very comfortable if you wanted to sit and watch TV.

Good location for walking from the ferry port and visiting places in Visby. Good breakfast.

There is no comb in the room. The bed is not really comfortable but acceptable.

* Nice building adjacent to the wall. This made navigation very easy as I could always find the hotel by following the wall no matter where I went. * Staff were kind enough to let me stow my bag even after I checked out * Breakfast buffet was good * Internet was fast, ~100 Mbps and very stable

* The desk had a pane of glass on it which isn't ideal for some mice. I ended up using a sheet of paper to get my mouse to track properly * Shower head was leaking a lot, managed to fix this myself by tightening it * Reception closes before the check in time (???) which means you gotta let yourself in using the provided door code and find your room keys in a basket full of envelopes. Kinda bizarre. * Clock on the TV was ~30 minutes fast

The breakfast was very good and very friendly staff. Great location. Also very accommodating in getting the key late due to a late ferry arrival.

Sky did not work on the TV, or any English tv was available for that matter. Things like the remote were not very clean.

Covid measures not monitored.. Breakfast room Was overpacked.. We know other hotels that book guests in timeslots to avoid overcrowding.. Very sad to see that there.

A lot of options with some local producers. A fairly long queue though. None in the queue wore masks against Covid.

Parking was scarce. The first night we got a spot, but 2nd and 3rd we had to park down by the harbor. Not a big problem, but still... Also cost for the parking

The breakfast was one of the best i have had in hotells. Big buffé. Good bread , good coffé and ginger shot and many many things i didn´nt taste.

It was a litle old and some years since a renovasion. It looked a bit weared down.

Great location, smooth check in.

The room was not sound proof, when the neighbours came home at night we could hear their every move.
