het hotel ligt op een berg,waardoor je een mooi uitzicht over de stad hebt
het ontbijt was ook erg goed en uitgebreid
voor het mooie, moet je wel met de auto zijn, anders is het best nog een hele klim ,lopend naar het centrum

This is a very smart hotel with excellent restaurant and amenities occupying an elevated location with wonderful views. The hotel staff are very helpful especially for a non Portuguese speaking tourist. The bar and terrace provide a great location to watch the sun go down. There is ample parking and I left my motorcycle there for 10 days whilst I went off cycling. The rooms provide plenty of space to sleep and chill out each with a private balcony and chairs. The bathrooms are equipped with powerful showers which provide welcome refreshment after a day out in the sun. I just loved it!

In der Bar wie in der Lobby wurde strapaziöse Musik gespielt. Leider gab es keine Ecke in die man sich zurückziehen konnte, etwa um entspannt etwas zu lesen. Störend war auch, dass dauernd Fernseher liefen, deren Ton sich mit der Musik überlagerte. Fast niemand schaute zu,.

L état très sale de la piscine intérieure, douches, et parois vitrées très en manque d un entretien, notre chambre était sale, les murs souillés.la chaîne Melia a tjs notre préférence en Europe mais la, c était juste dégoûtant

Un établissement raffiné, où le repos est le maître mot ! les chambres sont spacieuses, tres propres et décorées de belles broderies locales. l’espace SPA est superbe. la vue panoramique sur la ville aussi bien dans la chambre et la salle du petit déjeuner complète ce tableau. rien à dire, c’est un bel hôtel où nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
PS : la sangria du bar est excellente

Love this hotel, have stayed here many times and will definitely be back. Great location for exploring castelo branco and wider area. Walking distance in to town. Stunning views from front of hotel. Lovely indoor pool and gym which is fully kitted out with modern equipment. Great breakfast. Super clean throughout. Appreciated having a kettle in the room this visit. Good car parking. Noticed new electric car charging points on site.

The pool and the front desk staff were very nice.
The bar attendant was rude. We arrived at 8:45PM because the trains were on strike, starving. We wanted to go into the spa for a few mins but the kitchen was closing at 10, although the bar was open until 12. So I tried to put in an order before the spa but the bar tender gave us every option available at the restaurant, which he wouldn’t serve us, and didn’t know the vegetarian options… the food was frozen pizza and a very bad salad with olive oil and vinegar on plastic bags. Expensive and bad.

Locstion and views from room were amazing. Room was great size and staff so helpful! We had trouble on holiday but finding this hotel after being dropped off in castelo really lifted our spirits.

Fantastic location overlooking the town. Restaurant has a panoramic view of the countryside. Has to be seen. Good food and attentive polite staff. Ample motorcycle parking ouside reception. You wont be disapointed..
