The room was a standard hotel room with a kitchenette. The kitchenette was so handy

The stairs were narrow & no lift which is not unusual in older buildings in Europe

Not being able to check in at a time at an off time. However, I did catch the person who could check me in and leave my luggage in the breakfast room. Not putting the elderly on the lower floors as they have to hike up the stairs.

clean and spacious studio flat kind of room that has cooking facility with all crookery provided. staff very cooperative the receptionist at checked in was so kind and polite. the hotel is in city center with plenty of eating options nearby.

Attention: this review corresponds to the Hotel Duquesne, not the Petit Duquesne that I originally reserved. I was upgraded upon arrival to their nearby location which is a two-star hotel. The Petit Duquesne is a one-star hotel. The staff in both places were lovely. My room was very quiet although it gave onto the street. It had thick double or even triple-glazed glass, so there was no noise. The bed was very comfortable. The shower functioned and had nice and hot water. Very well located, near Commerce station. Both east/west and north/south tramway lines very close by.

There was a very unpleasant smell coming from the sink in the bathroom. I have a very sensitive sense of smell, other people probably wouldn't have been bothered by this. There were a few hairs on the blanket which didn't belong to me, but these are small things. Overall my stay was excellent and I would go back.

Everything was great except the 80 steps up to the 4th floor with a heavy suitcase. They should have told me!

From the map it looked a bit out of town but in fact it was right in the Town .. I was upgraded to the Residence ---- To the nice receptionist... I did actually get your upgrade message when I switched my phone on ..... So there was not a problem on yourside ....

A clean hotel where everything works. Good WiFi, friendly staff, quiet rooms, excellent location.

The rooms are functional rather than chic.

Shower and toilet facilities very well maintained. Towels provided. Minimalistic, tidy room. Staff were helpful and friendly. Great window and view out. TV had USB ports. Lamp provided. Bin provided. Chair and desk provided. Internet access in room.

Not much options for breakfast, especially for someone with a plant based diet. Sink seemed to be installed at an unusually high position. No fridge. Couldn´t open both sides of the window.
