A stunning boutique hotel in one of the best neighbourhoods for vibey bars and cafes! Also only a 15min walk to the harbour. I loved my little single room its amazing to find a hotel that properly caters for solo travellers! The photos really don't do the single room justice, it was freshly decorated and really comfortable. It was also so nice to come back to a friendly welcome at the front desk after a day of sight seeing! The courtyard and garden are gorgeous and I loved waking up to birds chirping in the morning :)

Location close to centre
No coffee or tea available in the room, and requests for any at reception was met with hesitation or payment. I've never stayed at a hotel where you're expected to pay additional for basics. I'd often ask for chilled tap water, as the bathroom tap let out lukewarm water, and again was met with a feel of annoyance. My room was also in awful condition compared to how the photos on site conveyed them - the shower door and adjoining wall was crumbling, and the wallpaper was peeling at a number of places in the room. The parking instructions was misleading on the booking, and resulted in a stressful arrival trying to find somewhere suitable, only to be met with a 58 EUR bill on exiting the carpark. Nothing boutique about this experience.

Location
Very tired

well located
room was fine but on the shabby side of things, the walls are paper thin, so it's quite loud, no elevator.

The location is great, walking distance to the port and local shops.
Breakfast wasn’t great… coffee was literally horrible! There was also an issue with the last person that stayed in the room we booked (she didn’t give back the keys to the room) so we had no keys to our room the first night which was a bit worrying and also annoying since we had to call reception to open the door…

Disgusting and awful situation. I booked 2 different rooms and payed for both of them. 8-10, 10-12th of June. In the morning 10th of June manager at the reception said that I do not have to change rooms! But when I came home late in the evening, they moved all my clothes, bag and shoes to another room !!!!!!!!! Without my agreement!!!!!! Most important thing is that hotel workers moved not all of my thighs. Manager screamed at me and was rude due to current situation. But it was absolutely their fault!!! Please, will move to another hotel immediately! I need my money back.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave good recommendations as to where to eat in Marseille, and let us leave our bags with them after we checked out and before we headed to the airport. The location was also great for us - a short walk from the train station and to the old port. There were also lots of restaurants, cafes and supermarkets nearby. The free WiFi was appreciated, and it was good to have a 24hr reception. Overall, it was not bad value.
The bedroom was a bit small, but the bathroom was extremely small. As an average-sized person, I found it a squeeze to get to the toilet, but my partner who is over 6 foot really struggled. There was also no hairdryer installed in the bathroom, even though the wires were already installed for it, and there was only one hairdryer at reception which was being used by another guest. The toilet seat was also wonky when we arrived and broke after a day. The aircon also did not seem to work, although that wasn't a huge problem for April temperatures. The TV only had access to a couple of French channels and was stuck in a corner of the room that could only be seen by one person on one side of the bed. You could also hear the sound of other guests climbing up the stairs and opening/shutting their doors. It was a pleasant stay but I think we expected a bit more from a 'boutique' hotel.

good location, nice hall, staff was friendly overall
furniture looked dated, not particularly appealing.
room on the 4th floor without lift. stuffy room

the hotel is located very centrally only a few minutes walk from most of the places to see in Marseille. the woman who checked us in was lovely. the breakfast for 12€ was great value with loads of food.
The hotel is a story of two halves. downstairs feels very boutique. but that is where it ends. once you pass up the stairs to the upper floors it feels dated and tired. I’m not sure if they are in the middle of redecorating as there is a large pile of decorating materials covered in a white sheet as you head up the stairs. our room in general was clean apart from some ( suspicious) stains on the wall by the bed. the shower head was broken and did not function correctly. when we reported this they did nothing about it. when we reported it again they just shrugged their shoulders. when we left there was no one available at reception to check us out and take payment for our stay. as a result they reported our stay as a no show to bookings.com. we wouldn’t recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

The room is not like in the pictures, it is very small and the walls are very thin you can hear everything that happens in the other rooms.
The hairdryer did not work.
There is no elevator.

location
no reception 24 hrs. i've not notice this information before / during reservation and it is pretty important (they close all night). cleaning service could be better.

Good location
Comfort on the room I booked was not fantastic. The strict minimum. The room was very small.
Toilet door not closing, not enough soap and Shampoo. Small details but they make a difference. a lot of noise from the corridors and that stairs that are fully open. Vacuum cleaner working at 8.30am on a weekend!

The place was a dirty single room and the bedsheet was disgusting.
I went to the receptionist and asked to change a room and the other room has also dirty bedsheets
Instead of cleaning it for me or checking another room, they gave me another bedsheet for me to change myself
For more than 100 euros the night, I was so choked.
And please when you arrived and you paid online for the breakfast double check it with them before they asked you to re-paid it. Otherwise, you will pay twice ;)
I was so disappointed I lucky that I can not post pictures to show it to you.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is close to the Vieux Porte & Gare Saint Charles.
The room wasn't as nice as the one I had last time I stayed here. Although travelling alone I had a double room last time.
