Great location, friendly staff.
The road facing rooms are simply too hot for a summer stay - they need air conditioning to make a stay comfortable.

Der Kaffee beim Frühstück war gut (WMF - Maschine)
Der tolle Mitarbeiter vom Empfang hat uns ein Zimmer direkt neben dem Aufzug zugewiesen - Vielen Dank dafür!! Sehr laut, wenn der Lift lief. Ich glaube, dass Hotel war bei weitem nicht ausgebucht. Dass mit den Geräuschen hatte man erst beim Schlafen wahrgenommen, sonst hätte ich natürlich verlangt, ein anderes Zimmer zu bekommen. Na ja, so ist das vielleicht, wenn an über Booking Zimmer bucht...
Das Frühstück war einfach aber geschmacklos! - Billige Wurst / Käse aus der Verpackung... Nix Bio, also das Obst / Gemüse

Leider war der Mülleimer nicht entleert, auf der Fensterbank außen lagen ultra schmutzige Socken (Zimmer war im 3 Stock)

Die Lage ist super
Kunstleder Bezüge auf Scheib-und Nachttischen. Wirkt billig.
Das Bad roch sehr stark nach Abfluss.
Fragte um 10.00 beim Frühstück nach Rührei. Das Frühstück ging bis 10.30 aber man machte keine Anstalten um noch neues zu machen.

Die Lage war top. In der Nähe der Altstadt. Ich bin überall zu Fuß super hingekommen.
Die Ausstattung war vollkommen ausreichend, modern eingerichtet und sauber und ordentlich.
Beim Zimmer zur Straße war es erwartungsgemäß etwas laut, wenn man ein geöffnetes Fenster zur Nacht braucht.
Bei geschlossenem Fenster war aber alles ruhig.

Location was very close to main square or centre of the old town. Cafes and bars near by.

The breakfast is quite good.
No aircon. This is a big NO for me. It was warm and heavy. No extractor fan in the bathroom either. Walls very thin so we could hear noise.
We could also easily hear people in the room above us.
Breakfast ends early on Mon - Fri at 9:30am
There is a note on a welcoming booklet about contacting the staff if the bed linen needs changing. We asked and all they did was just replace the towels on the floor and put the same bed sheets back in place each time.

Staff were fantastic, very friendly and welcoming. Was no problem leaving luggage upon check out as our flight was later which was amazing!
The temperature of the room! The staff were brilliant and managed to get us a fan upon our request for our second night. We didn’t realise how hot it would be on our first night without one so didn’t get much sleep (really tricky to have window open if your room is facing the road as it’s extremely noisy) which is a shame. Would highly recommend providing all rooms with fans as it wasn’t that hot whilst we were there (19 degrees) so can’t imagine what it’s like in warmer weather!

Our room was reasonably big and very comfortable. The food at breakfast was
good.
The hotel is not fully accessible as we had been led to believe by Booking.Co's site. There is a sizeable step at the entrance which caused difficulty in my disabled wife gaining entrance on foot or with her mobility scooter although later we found that a door to the breakfast room which was usually locked could be opened to provide easy entrance. The staff always opened this for us when requested. My wife was unable to take her scooter into the bathroom or use the shower.

Rooms were clean and spacious. Shower was a decent size with good pressure
The air-conditioning was not functioning and the rooms were very warm. We had to wait 1 night for someone else to check out to get a fan as they were all in use when we checked in on our first night.

I think a bit over reaction that need to pay extra for electricity instead of including. The staff who's in morning shift was quite friendly but not the one from evening shift ( guy) . He's a little grumpy but fine.

Super friendly staff that did everything to accommodate our needs. The room was super spacious and we were even able to see the Kölner Dom from our window. Located centrally. Great value for money.

The room doesn't have a main light and was therefore quite dark,

The room was spacious, there is a TV infront of the bed which just nice for my family to watch world cup final in the room.
The cleanliness was not good. There was a pillow that was dirty and have small little black dirt around it. When I lifted it up, there was big patch of black dirt below it. Unsatisfactory.
