Hotel no muy actualizado

Las instalaciones y la ubicación con vista a 18 de julio .

Demora en entregar la habitación el ingreso está previsto para las 14 y casi a las 15:00 entregaron la habitación

Desayuno.

La higiene no es buena, toallas con manchas amarillas, chinche en una cama, bañera sin tapón en una de las habitaciones. Se habló varias veces del tema chinche en la cama y se mostró, el personal de recepción decidió ignorar y decir que iban a cambiar la habitación, nunca lo hicieron, ni siquiera la limpiaron cuando el cartel en la puerta lo pedía. No recibí ni lamentos, ni descuento por la mala higiene, ni buenos días/tardes/noches, en la recepción cero atención cuando te ven, excepto en el check in cuando te cobran. Mención especial que escuché cuatro relaciones sexuales de mis vecinos de cuarto por los gritos, no sé si falla la atención en ese tema o las paredes son muy finas, pero difícil dormir así, y como no podía dormir prendí la tele pero era una ralla azul constante, que al otro día desapareció. El desayuno es muy rico y variado, el punto excelente.

Comentarios de un empleado varón en recepción. Realizó comentarios negativos de vacacionar en Uruguay, los uruguayos. Y yo estaba llegando al hotel con otro matrimonio que éramos familiares y venían desde Argentina. No me pareció bien que hiciera esos comentarios, ya que nadie le preguntó nada. También realizó comentarios machistas respecto de la manifestación del 25N que estaban pasando frente al hotel en esos momentos.

The room was lovely. Housekeeping does a great job. Everything was in good repair but I wanted a nice hot tub bath but it was impossible. There was no grab bar or anything thing to hold onto when getting out of the tub, so I took showers.

I asked a question about my credit card at checkout time. The man at the front desk made a phone call to get an answer to my question. He referred to me as a "vieja" (old woman) during the call. That offended me and it went down hill after that. The woman at the front desk was helpful and businesslike.

The view !!! Junior suite is the room you have to look for . Montevideo is a gem to enjoy and those rooms are the best .

The bed was comfortable and had nice sheets

Two lights oin the room were not working. Reported it early am to front desk and the promised to send someone to look but nothing was done when we returned in evening. One gentleman at front desk was very cold and rude to us when we stopped by to ask a question. City view upgrade was not worth it. Nothing to see and extra noise as on a major street. Toilet button in wall leaked water ever time it wad pushed

Wonderful full breakfast! so many options! Also, very comfortable, spacious room and staff are pleasant

the decor is a little outdated. We had a problem with a bathroom leak in our room, but were promptly given another room in which everything was fine.

Good location with good restaurants near by. Shower with good water pressure and plenty of hot water.

No coffee making equipment in the room. Hallways and room very musty smelling..the carpet needs to be replaced. Walls very thin, could hear the toilet flush in the room next door, very noisy air conditioner.

The room was small and dingy. Very old, filthy curtains, mould in bathroom, cracked and chipped bathtub. Very poor. Staff were not very friendly. No help whatsoever with our bags.

This is not a 4 star hotel by any modern standards. Feels like time stopped in the 70s or 80s. The room we had was very dated and the carpets smell bad. We had to run the AC to clear out the smell every day. The bathroom hasn't seen any love for some time, but it was clean. If it had 3 stars, i would have rated it higher, but the 4 stars set some expectations

Location was great, the beds were really nice and the room was properly cleaned.

The toilet paper was really cheap, the gym only had threadmills and ergometric bikes and the parking lot was on a different building a block away from the hotel.

The hotel belongs to another era, it really needs renovation and to be modernised.

they informed me of additional charges at check out (parking) that i had asked at check in and they said were included. Not only that, the parking was a few blocks away and they charged me more than i would have paid the parking directly. I found it misleading at least. the room smelled damp

Nice location in the heart of the city.

That my key card constantly had problems with unlocking my door.
