It was in an ideal location, staff were very welcoming & helpful. Hotel was nice & clean also had a lift which we now find very helpful. The room was nicely furnished & had a good shower. Found the bed a bit soft but thats just a personal thing. The meals were delicious & the place had a happy friendly vibe.

There was no heating in our room on 2nd night of our stay nor the corridors along the hallway, spoke to a staff member who said they’d see to it but nothing happened…was disappointed.

Just needs TLC badly upstairs sadly in the rooms by the owners. Toilet roll holder loose door handle fell off in the 🌙 night and just the general upkeep of the rooms need attention. If his was done it would be a 10 rating by all guests im sure so! As they have got it so right so amazing downstairs just needs as much detail and attention upstairs 😋

The location was excellent being in the High Street. The near by car parking was free also. The food we had was very nice. The room was clean and tidy. We could not fault the staff as they were very friendly and nothing to much trouble for them.

We had a few drinks in the place which we found pricey, but this did not spoil the place. There was no view from our window just the Royal Mail garage. We were not in the room much anyway.

LOCATION WAS EXCELLENT

There was no hairdryer and this was expected as standard also we had no change of towels for the 3 days we stayed and no room tidy. We did ask for refills of tea bags and milk and they were provided no problem.

Staff was great. Loved that the windows had blinds directly on them so we could block light but still let air in. Restaurant was good. Amazing value for the money.

The toilet seat and/or the entire toilet slid/wobbled.

Your staff made my visit to Arbroath. Stuart Emma but especially Susan. Do you know I would come back again because of your staff not your hotel, the place needs brightening up which is an easy fix, but I hope you appreciate your staff as they right now keep your hotel afloat. They made us do very welcome snd we’re so friendly nothing was too much to make our stay worthwhile.
