Lock boxes are great and the code for the box was sent exactly at the time I was told it would. The home was absolutely beautiful. Everything you need is there. The home is spotlessly clean and very nicely decorated. The view out to sea is so lovely and relaxing. This is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed and would have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone else again and if I go back to Arbroath this is the first place I will check for availability. Cannot really say enough good things about it I was really delighted.

Could do with a few more pots and pans , crockery and cutlery . I know it is a 4 sleeper , but if you are having a few guests over for dinner the catering facilities are a bit limiting .

No teatowels in kitchen Noisy upstairs neighbours. Door slamming around midnight, constant walking and stomping 2-5 am, we didn’t sleep the first night

The property was clean and spacious with a lovely sea view from the living room. It was good to have plenty of space to hang towels in the bathroom! The patio was quite a sun trap and a pleasant place to sit even in the second half of September. The location was good - town centre in easy walking distance in one direction and local Co-op in the other; also very handy for the path along the cliffs.

There was only just enough cutlery, and we could have done with a few more teaspoons, etc. The other thing that would have been useful is a bin collection calendar, especially as we discovered the grey and purple bins are collected fortnightly and the brown one weekly on a different day. However, these were only minor things.

we never had the opportunity to experience the property, I booked this accommodation very early on as there was a reunion for Falklands commemoration 40 years on. unfortunately, we were left scrabbling to find accommodation as owners of this property cancelled on us last minute, apparently they could only complete renovation work in June! I’m sure accommodation is fine but would raise issue that your booking is not safe depending on whether there are other activities in the area that may pay more. disappointed and out of pocket! loved many years in Arbroath, have cracking memories of the town, community and colleagues no longer with us, tainted by this experience. especially as we were sent access, key safe and asked to rate property!

I would recommend this accommodation to others. Beautiful views and very clean, well equipped accomodation. We had a lovely stay here ☺️ The beds were comfortable and the shower nice and powerful 🙂 There was a freezer, which is always a bonus 🙂

We found the people in the accomodation above us to be very noisy at night (well after midnight). There was a lot of door slamming and stomping around. It's the nature of this type of house, but it did disturb us at night. I would still stay again though. You do sort of get used to it. There was also a mix up with the accomodation being double booked, but the host fairly sorted this out and our stay was unaffected.

The location was excellent and the sea views were amazing- especially given we had such lovely weather. The flat was spacious and comfortable. It was easy to find and was within walking distance of the town.

The flat felt quite stuffy. Didn’t like the hand gel in the bathroom - would have expected soap of some kind as well.

The house was really comfortable with everything you would need to make it that way. Lovely garden and a great sea view. Did not get a chance to use the sun house, maybe next time

We were self catering so breakfast and most meals were in the apartment. The kitchen and bathroom were fully equipped for our needs and the two settees in the lounge were really comfortable as were the beds. Some evenings we had the heating on so we were never cold. The view from the french doors in the lounge looked out across the very tidy garden to the sea and we often sat outside just chilling out. We had easy access through the garden right onto the cliff path parallel to the row of bungalows and it was a very pleasant walk which overlooked the park next to the sea. It was only a short drive into Arbroath which we found really interesting, as was the harbour and the Abbey where we looked round the visitor centre and the grounds. The Abbey itself was closed while conservation works were taking place but we enjoyed our time there. Our holiday was made even more enjoyable thanks to the wonderful hospitality of the host and hostess, Matthew and Maggie. They were really friendly and did everything they could to ensure we were enjoying our holiday so many thanks from Jim, Norma and John to such a lovely couple.

Non slip mat in shower

Beautiful view of the sea and Belrock lighthouse out the lounge window. Location excellent for walking along cliffs and short walk to the town. Binoculars provided which was a nice touch.
