Excellent service from the lady at the front desk (so sorry but I lost the note with her name). Very helpful in getting tours booked at the last minute. It was great to have a kitchen and fridge. The Manager was kind enough to take our heavy bags up to our apartment on 1st floor (not ground) on arrival. It's in walking distance to the shopping mall and Esplanade (fairly long walk). We appreciated the instant coffee/tea/milk provided. The washer/dryer were nice to have too.

We were on the 1st floor and no elevator. That's really my fault as apparently I accidentally booked the wrong hotel. I would never book a multifloor accommodation without an elevator. We are in our 70s and on a lengthy trip with a short stay in Cairns so the luggage was a problem leaving so early in the morning but we managed without doing too much damage to ourselves. The shower in #34 needs a grab bar as floor is quite slippery. Beds were a bit too firm for both of us. Needs a memory foam topper or something to soften. Didn't like having to turn the AC off when leaving as it took time to cool off when we returned but I do understand the need to do that.

the apartment was very good value. it was clean and comfortable. they are t luxury but that is reflected in the price. they did the job perfectly. the manager Heinrich was very helpful and carried a very heavy suitcase up the stairs for us

Owners were lovely. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Loved how spacious the unit was. It was reasonably close to town and Cairns Central. Great that it was in a secure complex.

The only thing I didn't like was the lounge. You sunk into it so much making it hard work to try and get out of the lounge.

Citysider is located just a short walk from the main shopping centre in Cairns. The apartment was very clean and was well equipped. Matthew and Cara were very welcoming and made our stay very enjoyable. The vegetation around the pool area was well maintained as was the pool.

We were in a front apartment so there was some traffic noise.
