A very nice staying at Sofhotel - Ramesh welcomed us very well.
He changed the room booked based on our actual needs and accommodate all our small requests.
If you are on one of the various bicycle routes of the area, including the Paris-London, consider this place.

The staff really looked after me. They even added more spice to my boeuf bourgignon because they were worried I had got too cold and wet on my bike ride.

Friendly welcome, restaurant onsite with very enjoyable food in the evening, and an excellent breakfast before we left in the morning. The hotel is literally 'across the tracks', but not far by car, and if you want to walk into town there's a subway just outside the hotel that goes under the railway and leads right into the centre of town.
Bedroom was clean but in need of a lick of paint.

Easy to check in. Good secure parking.
Some unfinished parts to the room - light fittings next to the bed had exposed metal parts instead of light shades. Breakfast choice was a bit lacking.

No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Toilet very awkward for a larger person, situated at an angle in a small gap. Not enough pillows. Advertised sauna and hot tub unavailable.

Room was very, very hot. No AC and staff did not have a fan. Beds were fold out foutons that sloped into the center making it uncomfortable for two people to sleep as we rolled into the center slope.
