I liked everything

Patricia was very helpfull she is a nice person.The Hotel is great and has good connection to the Airport and the City.Coffee/Tee/Sweets for free in the kitchen.

A couple of different staff members during my stay were friendly and will ask you if your room needs extra supplies. The kitchen facilities and fresh water dispenser in the ground floor corridor were a fantastic resource in order to eat and drink economically during my stay. The pictures on booking.com of the ground floor bedroom and the kitchen and outside patio were correct and it was generally very clean in all areas when I arrived. The bedroom was large and the floor space by the door could be transformed in the warmer months into a semi-outdoor space. Hostel House is in a fairly quiet neighbourhood (in winter) and from my room at the back of the building I didn't feel that noise was an issue. I really liked that there are 3 supermarkets and an underground suburban railway station just 5 minutes walk away. By public transport it takes about 30-35 minutes to travel to the airport, 15-20 minutes to travel to Barcelona's Catalonya square and 10-15 minutes to reach Sants regional and high speed railway station. I also liked that I was close to the musuems, the Olympic stadium and the Fortress on the Montjuic hill.

The bathroom in the bedroom is small and the sink very cramped and shallow. The sink was so small that it was difficult to avoid water splashing out of the sink when washing hands. The shower head was ok but the space inside was aimed for a small person. The ground floor bedroom lacks natural daylight (fine in the summer so it can stay cool) as the patio outside has high walls so I had to keep the spot lights on, all the time I was awake in the bedroom. The kitchen is also on the small side and definitely isn't to be used by more than two people at a time. The ground floor corridor is narrow so I don't think Hostel House is suitable for wheelchairs. I didn't try out the lift so I don't know if that was small too.

Clean room, Good welcoming, Kind people. Good location, nearby to bus and metro stations.

The place had all the neccessary amenities: there was a kitchen open for guests to use with coffee, tea, little breakfast snacks etc., WiFi worked well, there was also a small desk with a chair in the room, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was very good, everything was super clean.

The room was a bit noisy, we could hear other guests flushing the toilet as if it was in our room, seems like noise isolation was lacking. The room was also very small and quite dark, so best to choose if you don't plan on staying in the room for too long and just need a clean space to sleep.

The personal was so nice. They were always there for you. We had our trip back home at 3 pm and they let us leave the suitcases there so we could go around town without them. The room was nice and cozy

The location was easy accessible with the bus from the airport and also to get around Barcelona with a big bus stop at 5 minutes walk. The kitchen had some sweet snacks and tea which was great.

During our 3 nights stay we didn’t have any cleaning or change of towels. The towels had a bad smell and we would have appreciated them being changed.

the hosts were very friendly. The room is perfect ; clean and everything you need is available, located in a nice area. unfortunately there was an celebration week during my stay in hostal house with parties at night next to the hostal. However, the host solved this problem extremely well.

We had a very nice room, it was small but very clean and comfy with nice big windows to the terrace. It had very nice and clean bathroom as well. There were towels, hairdryer and small shampoos. In the room was comfortable bed, small fridge and a television. The owner was very nice and helpful. In the kitchen there was everything you need, including coffeemaker, washingmachine, small butters, cheese, marmelades and toasts for breakfast for free. 😇 As well as dryed milk and lots of tea bags. Small but very clean and organized. We really liked it!

Great little room with a fridge, nothing more to ask for.
