Une auberge de jeunesse très conviviale. Il y règne une belle atmosphère. Un salon très agréable et chambre spacieuse. Tout est propre et très bonne organisation des cuisines . On s’y sent bien !

Host was very welcoming - even when I was confused about the ID situation. You need to show ID when arriving. Not entirely sure why?
Room was good, parking was good. We had 4 cars with us, so plenty of room.
Kitchen facilities was great. Perfect for a hostile.
The bathroom for the gents could be better, the layout is odd, two sinks, one shower and one toilet? Would be better to have the shower separate from the toilet as it housed many guests.

A traditional hostel which has retained character and homeliness. Excellent encouragement to recycle. Great views, friendly, helpful staff.

Auberge tout équipée. La meilleure que nous ayons fait en Ecosse. Super confortable. Vue magnifique sur la mère. Excellent restaurant au camping d'à côté. Et une des choses les intelligentes que j'ai rencontré : des tablettes pour chaque lit ! Il fallait y penser. Eux l'ont fait !

Tolle Lage mit Ausblick, der nächste große Supermarkt mit großer Auswahl eine Stunde entfernt. Im Ort lokale Möglichkeiten. Nettes Personal, großes Zimmer, gut ausgestatte Küche.
Was für uns gar nicht geht und warum wir nicht wiederkommen: Das Hostel soll 7 Stunden, zwischen 10 und 17 Uhr verlassen werden. Das war für uns als Familie mit Hunger/Pause/Rückzug wirklich blöd.

Lovely little hostel. We had a family room with 2 sets of bunk beds and a double. Clean and tidy bedroom/toilet/showers. The staff were lovely and really helpful. Ideal for our stopover on the NC500. Would recommend for couples or families.
There wasn't a huge amount of parking which could have been difficult if we had arrived later. The location made it difficult to accommodate more parking then they had really.

Good sized family room, we enjoyed the Flair, it feels very homely, the staff been very friendly and warm and shared vast knowledge of the area.
Kitchen has all you need to cook up a feast, dining room is really cosy
In comparison to other hostels we basically didn't hear any noise from other guests although we were close to the lounge, entry and reception!
We would have loved an earlier checkin but it was all as described and we understand. Otherwise really nothing to complain about

The location is great! Just down the road from a lovely beach. We were doing the NC500 on motorcycles. The staff at the hostel were fantastic and went out of their way to help us when we lost a key to one motorcycle. Can't recommend them enough.

Location, Gairloch area is beautiful especially the sea. Our view was ok but views from the landing were wow. Very good cooking facilities. Id come back. Top tip Great cafe at the nearby campsite. barns sands cafe, very nice food of restaurant standard.

A great location with really good staff. The common room area has a lovely view out to sea. Plenty of comfortable seating.
Not hostels fault but .. a somewhat inconsiderate group took over the communal kitchen for a blog-type of session totally ignoring other users.
