Very quiet, secluded area but still within 30 minutes of everything. This was our second time staying here, love this place!

Its a lovely, quiet property with lots of trees in the country. Kitties loved watching the squirrels and sitting on the porch for morning coffee was wonderful. The place has all you'll need & the bed is great!

Very nice, clean, quiet property surrounded by nature. The apartment was perfect for us as we waited for our home renovation to finish. Joyce was very accommodating to our ever changing needs. The apartment was filled with some of the details that make a stay more enjoyable. Even our dog felt at home with the pet bed, bowls and treats for him! Joyce includes a welcome binder with local area information, and a diary where you can read previous guests comments and add your own experiences for future guests to consider. We have stayed in many homes in this area over the past year and can truly say we have been the most comfortable in this home.

Clean quiet comfortable

We stayed in this apartment for almost 2 weeks. It was perfect for for my husband and I and our two medium sized dogs. It's about a 15 minute drive for groceries into Lenoir City, but there is a Dollar General about 5 mins away for those convenient items. We hiked with the dogs almost every day. There are a ton of options all under an hour away. For the days that were wet there are a number of paved greenways to use in nearby towns. Kingston has a small, but well kept, dog park that is less than 20 mins away. This apartment is a great location for exploring eastern and central TN. The property is quiet and safe. There is a fabulous porch to have morning coffee or watch the sunset. Inside the apartment the sofa was comfortable and the bed is fantastic (so much so I'm now considering buying one just like it). I cooked almost all of our meals there. The kitchen doesn't have everything but it is well appointed enough to make basic meals. There is a little pantry that is available for use. Just like previous guests we used some things and left some items behind for others. This was a "working vacation" for us. The wifi was strong enough for my husband and I to both be online and in meetings at the same time while simultaneously streaming YouTube. That was the one concern I had and it was not a problem at all. You can book this VRBO with confidence. We would absolutely stay here again.

We arrived in the middle of a cold front (18 degrees) and the digital lock box wouldn't work. Neither the owner or her husband were even in the state. The issue was sorted out with the help of a neighbor. The apartment wasn't clean. A pile of dust and hair was left in the middle of the floor and there were dirty dishes in the cupboard. The floors felt sticky and there was hair on the towels. The sink was splattered with red pasta sauce, as was the trashcan. The TV volume didn't work. The Nest thermostat wasn't working properly. After our first days outing we returned to the temperature in the apartment at 40 degrees. The second day it was 44 when we returned. The owner's solution was to offer us a free extra night despite knowing we were only in the area for three days.

I am in between homes and this property is just a perfect stay,also easy to work out of...love it.. Angelo

This vrbo property rental was better than expected. The location was exactly what we were hoping it would be, a little secluded but near things we had planned to do. We took our two little dogs with us and they loved it there too!

This country retreat is a great place to stay. The place is set up wonderfully and with great thoughtfulness. The host has provided all the large items but also the small items to make a great vacation.

Great experience staying at this rental property. Our family traveled with our dog. Joyce was very accommodating with offering use of her dog crate. Property was peaceful, relaxing and located in the country. Home was clean, cozy, with many amenities and was perfect for our 5-night stay. We were in the Knoxville area for a softball tournament and this home was 30 minutes from the field. We enjoyed the supplied campfire/wood. Definitely recommend staying here for a change of pace from the hotel city experience.

I was in the process of relocating to the area and needed a quiet place to stay for myself and my dog for a week. It was quiet and convenient and the host was super nice and accommodating and respectful of my privacy. It was perfect!

This was our 2nd stay at Joyce's cozy house. I missed the review window last time.....it was every bit as good. Everything needed. She was accommodating and communicated very well. We were back to finish a job in Knoxville. This time we had to bring our dog. She loved it as much as we did. The evenings were great. Bed was very comfortable to us. We would definitely stay again..

We had to book this place last minute due to our original booking canceling our reservations. Joyce was very understanding and in constant contact with us to ensure our stay was going well. Only downside was the distance to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, if that is what you visit is for, about an hour and 15 minute drive. I would book this place again and highly recommend it.

The apartment was clean and cozy, with several amenities. It has beautiful views of sunrises and sunsets, is very quiet and peaceful. I stayed a month to explore the area. It was a good place to travel from.

The property was well kept and quiet. Everything that was listed was exactly as I found it. There was so much space and so many conveniences. Full kitchen with pots and pans. It was nice to cook a meal not microwave one. Having a washer and dryer was great. Highly recommend this property.

Would rent again

We stayed in this property while we were moving to TN. The owner was wonderful to work with. The unit had everything we needed and allowed us to have a safe place to park a trailer until we could move into our new house.

As seen as we saw this listing, we knew it was the one for us. The pictures posted were what drew us in, and did not do the property justice after seeing it in person. Joyce, the owner was very welcoming and quick with responses when we had questions. It was the perfect getaway for my wife and I. We can’t thank Joyce enough for the hospitality and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet secluded place to stay. 10/10. We will be back.

Very relaxing stay! Quiet surroundings and comfortable living quarters. Communications with host were top notch, very friendly and welcoming. Will stay here again!

We loved it here! The space was so clean and comfortable and had EVERYTHING you could possibly need. The owners are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. We had a last minute need for extra night and they were so accommodating. You are in the country on 6 acres of beautiful, wooded land. If our travels bring us back this way, we would want to stay here again. Proximity to restaurants and grocery are just a few miles away. We had our dog with us and it work out just great. They even had doggy dishes for Maggie!

Joyce’s place was wonderful. It served us extremely well as we just moved to Knoxville and needed a place to stay while shopping for a house. Joyce was accommodating and accessible at all times. I highly recommend.
