Location of facility both to the village and to the beach. It was generally quiet and had all the bits that we needed.

No contact with anyone that worked there (I get that they were limiting contact due to covid) so we weren't able to ask questions that easily.

The location was perfect! The pool was very nice and also the balcony. The beds were very comfortable! The House as a whole is lovely! The towels were changed aftwr two days, that was nice. Everything very uncomplicated.

The kitchen was very badly equipped (there was nothing to clean the dishes, no cleaning soap or anything, also really bad knifes, and no cutting board..). Also the kitchen equipment wasn‘t clean. The appartement was medium clean I would say.

Amazing location, however little things need improving.

There was only 9 sunbeds and 1 chair-we were a family of 4 and met another family of 4 whilst there-no other residents could sunbathe!!! The tap from the beach wasn’t working so people cleaned their feet in the pool! I was there for 2 weeks and only saw the pool ‘looked’ at once, which is when I think a pool company put chemicals in. The drains around the pool were either blocked or not switched on, when people swam in the pool-the whole patio area was wet as the water ran down-not a massive problem as long as you didn’t have anything on the floor. Due to Covid the maid wasn’t servicing the rooms, completely understanding and when we asked for fresh towels and even bedding she was happy to supply us with clean, so we could change our own beds. When we had a shower the water came up through the middle drain-as if again blocked, this flooded the whole bathroom and became a slip hazard-maybe a mop would help? The kitchen facilities were very bleak-we had 1 frying pan, 1 rusty pan (wouldn’t use it) and no plug for the sink. Don’t go on holiday to cook, but for breakfast and lunch would have liked the option. The gate at the front and the gate to the beach, we’re locked and it became a through way for none residents! Wouldn’t hesitate to book again and stay at the Marika, but defiantly needs some updating.

We loved the location the property,perfectly situated by the beach and the property had a well maintained swimming pool,which our grandson enjoyed too.Not to far from local amenities and wonderful restaurants.Loved waking up to the sound of the sea.
