We arrived late due to our flight being delayed but the host answered her phone she was very understanding as we arrived very late. She made us feel very welcome. The room was comfortable and not to mention very clean our room was cleaned daily. Fresh towels were provided daily. I especially loved the fact that electricity was there daily with back up of generator. Our host always engaged in conversation with us asking how we were getting along. The cleaning lady always had a smile on her face everytime we saw her. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone in Bulawayo it’s definitely worth every penny.

The owner was a very nice lady, I enjoyed talking to her. She has a power generator which is switched on immediately when the main power supply is down (very common in Zim this days).

It was a bit loud although there were not many guests.

Bij aankomst bleek dat de accommodatie volledig volgeboekt was . De boeking was circa 2 maanden voor de datum geplaatst en bevestigd!! De klant was ook niet gewaarschuwd dat de accommodatie vol zat. We hebben veel kostbare tijd verspild Hals over de kop moest ik andere accommodatie gaan zoeken hetgeen veel extra tijd kostte Super slechte service Het is onbegrijpelijk dat booking.com dergelijke accommodaties op de website heeft

We arrived at Hillside Manor around 4pm to be told we were not booked as the place was full and we were not expected. And yet I had booked via Booking.com We asked for the manager and they got her on the phone as she was out. I spoke to the said manager on the phone - the rooms had been given to people with longer occupancy. She gave a lot of other excuses not worth writing about. She said she would find us another nice place somewhere else. We didn't wait for the lady to return and decided to go and look for accommodation elsewhere before it got dark. We were left puzzled and annoyed as to why we weren't notified before. H.Manor should treat all their customers with respect.
