The location is perfect, as well as close to a big supermarket. The stuff is warm, pleasant and very informative.

The room was perfectly clean with all necessary amenities provided. We had a separate bathroom, only for us, and complementary coffee and tea included. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Communication was great. In addition, bus stop is in front of the house, as well as the supermarket and exchange office. I recommend this place!

Location was good, opposite a cafè for breakfast, next to a shop for food and other needs. The room was also very clean, very close to the city center, with a parking spot near the entrance. The host was also very polite.

The room was a little bit cold at night. I would have probably left the heaters on.

Very good price for value. Nice, clean and well maintained room. Nice host. Everything went very smooth. Very quiet since it's two rows behind the road and there not many other guets. Access by car and parking is very easy. Shops and restaurants nearby.

Location is not in walking distance to the city centre, but a direct bus into the centre stops very nearby. I had some trouble with the shower once.

Absolutely could recommend homeowners! Thanks for the late check-in and warm room. The room is nice and in absolutely good condition. A private bathroom is also fine with a large bath which is rare to find. Also own balcony and mountain view is fascinating!

Place is hard to find, the owner is not responding to calls/emails. In person, he's a great guy though

The towels were terribly small.

We stayed in homestay Dodo in the second half of March. It was not easy to chose the right moment to visit Ticino, so we had to shift our booking but there was no issue with that. We were warmly welcomed on arrival. It was a room on the second floor with a big comfy bed, many pillows, warm blanket, big old wooden table, wardrobe and balcony. The bathroom and toilet were next to our room. I think it was a shared bathroom but we have not seen anyone using it besides us. We asked for a kettle and were offered to use a coffee machine! The host put the coffee machine on the ground floor and we just had to buy the capsules in the supermarket Migros that was just 100 meters away. Of course, we have got a kettle and tea bags as well :) There was no breakfast but a good bakery was across the road and it was open even on Sundays. Unfortunately, all restaurants were closed in Lugano due to COVID but we could order a delivery. Overall, it was a pleasant and not expensive for Swiss standards stay. Private parking is available free of charge.

Considering price, this was exceptional accommodation. I was expecting much less. There was a nice balcony in the room, room and bathroom was clean, location was great - few meters from Migros, nice bakery ... Parking was in front of the entry for free. Checking was smooth even I arrived late because of traffic jam in Gotthard tunnel. I was traveling with dog, and it was no issue at all. Balcony was beneficial as my dog loves to gaze outside from balcony :)

For this price, I was happy with everything. Please consider, that bathroom was in the corridor and this corridor is shared, but bathroom was next to our doors, so I did not see a problem with this. Other room had it's own bathroom, so our bathroom was private. Room is simple, but comfortable for 2 and the dog. I would say that it would be good for longer stay as well.
