Wonderful experience and staffs were friendly 👍🏻 Breakfast was freshly made upon order.
Didn’t have electricity and water on the last night 😂 but, I still enjoyed my stay and the experience. 👍🏻

Superfijne eenpersoonskamers met gedeelde badkamer (ik boekte ze om ongestuurd en in airco te kunnen werken) die uitkomen op een prachtige tuin. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en begaan. Zocht mee naar oplossingen rond transport bijvoorbeeld, waar ze konden (Engels was niet altijd heel sterk). Tijdens het ontbijt kon je dagelijks kiezen uit enkele opties en werd je super bediend, ook kon je iedere ochtend een verse fruitshake uitkiezen die ze vers maakte. Heerlijk relaxen aan het zwembad of in de eetruimte met een boek. Prima verblijf als je nood hebt aan wat alone time en oké bent met de basis in Lombok, op een dikke 20 minuten lopen van het bruisende centrum.
Ik volg de commentaren hier wel dat het verblijf er wat verouderd en onverzorgd bijligt. Niet dat het mij erg stoorde, maar het zijn gemiste kansen. Het zwembad bijvoorbeeld lag er wat verloederd bij, in de tuin waren ze aan het klussen waardoor er al eens wat vuil rondslingerde en ook de badkamers werden niet grondig of tijdig gepoetst. Voor de prijs die ik betaalde en het comfort dat ik gewoon ben in Lombok, vond ik het voldoende, maar ga er niet als je een hotel-vibe wilt, dat is het eerder niet.

So why not a 10 ??? Well nothing can be perfect, because that would mean that there is no room for improvement. Also VVL can use some improvement here and there, and that is what they try to do, step by step. Bear in mind that especially places like Lombok have suffered dramatically from Covid and fully recovering from that takes time....and money.
For us VVL definately was a 10 because they ticked all our personal boxes and offered a stunning price/performance ratio.

The bathroom is a bit dated. We couldn't change the temperature of the airconditioning.

Nice atmosphere, very quiet and peaceful. Comfortable bed, though a little in the soft side. Breakfast was good and you can refill your water bottle. Great plus was the hot shower.
AC worked but was hard to keep it working and kept on making beeping sounds

the sheets weren’t very clean.. dogs in the evening were very loud. I didn’t witness any mosquitoes, but god damn.. the ants we’re constantly biting us!

I liked the room and breakfast a lot and especially liked the garden and pool.
In the room (2) the airconditioning was making a lot of vibrating noise when it automatically goes into certain modes, this was very annoying. maybe it can be fixed.

Peaceful serenity and great location. Finally found a place I'm able to sleep all night without being woken up by mosque or roosters.. The breakfast was great and the beds so comfy with hot showers.

I just love this place! The rooms are super nice, it’s quite and the surrounding is lush and green. Breakfast is amazing and the staff is super friendly. Especially Tomi. He takes care of everything and made me feel like home. He’s always there to help or to have a nice chat. Tomi is the best host I had during my time in Indonesia and I can’t wait to be back - already booked my next stay, thanks Tomi!

Not really something negative at all, just a tip: I would recommend renting a scooter (which you can at the hotel), otherwise you‘ll have to walk home in the dark at night (15-20min). with the scooter you‘re in the busy area within minutes!

The room and the hotel are gorgeous and cozy. Also the location is near from everything and no noise at all. The breakfast was soo good! And the staff are so friendly and helpful!!

Personal was really kind with us.
The room had so many mosquitos and spiders inside… despite the fact that we were really carefull when opening the door, leaving the air conditioner open.. appear more and more.
They may need to do a better cleaning of the room before giving it to the guest.
Moreover, the plugs next to the bed did not work..

The staff were very helpful and friendly.
I stayed here twice before and loved it. But this time it wasn't as good. They no longer do espresso coffee and don't sell beer here any more. There were no other guests here during my stay so it felt pretty lonely. I think this is because you can now get better value for money accommodation in Kuta. It seemed a little unkept and a few times it was hard to find staff when I needed something.

The single room is very small for ~300k per night, there are better options in Kuta. Also the personal wasn't that friendly as you are used to it in Lombok.

the room was just okay with a quite brand new furniture
bathroom was dirty, the soap hanger was rusting all over the place, the toilet seems dirty with a stain in several places. The wifi connection was so poor, it goes on and off all the time. I am using Telkomsel cellular provider in which in the area of the hotel the signal was poor and I was hoping that I can count on the hotel wifi connection but it turned out to be poor connection also

I love that all the staff are eally helpful. I can check in very early and they giving us a free ride to drop off to the pick up point of motoGP shuttle. They also able to buy some food as we requested in the late night.
It's not really something that i dont like. It's just some suggestion from me. Maybe more rooms with bathroom inside will be good. Also more addition on the breakfast menu because right now it's just limited by 4 type of menu.
The last one, because the location is a bit far from kuta, maybe a free drop off to one spot in kuta will be a great services.
