The apartment was cute, clean, comfortable and spacious. It is a skip & a hop away from the bus stop leading straight into Lugano, ~24 minutes. There were plenty of extra thoughtful touches in the rooms and in the fridge. Plus, the level of hospitality and response we received from the host family was excellent. We would happily recommend and return to Il guscio!

The bed was a little too springy-soft for us, but that's just personal preference.

Very friendly owner. Very good communication beforehand which ensured we found the property easily. Great place to stay if, like us,you are on a long trip as it has a washerdryer. Lovely and generous supply of breakfast items plus a a large bowl of fruit which was perfect for us. Also we were brought fresh croissants for our breakfast - delicious! Couldn't have been better we hope to return for more than one night next time.

The apartment wasn't as spacious as I imagined but otherwise fine and the breakfast arrangement was fine too. It is a bit far from lugano lakeside and in an industrial zone. They helped a lot with restaurant bookings etc and we did enjoy our dtay

Near to highway, but far away enough to avoid disturbance. Comfortable bed. Good choice and variety of breakfast. Very friendly host.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was clean, spacious and it had everything we needed. Breakfast was very good and had several choices meeting dieting requirements. Some reviews mentioned the road, but it didn't bother us. The noise was limited by the exelent windows, parking was on a quiet side lane next to the property and when we looked out of the window we saw a trunk of a palm tree and a garden. This apartment had simply a very good price - quality comparisson. If we are ever in the area again, we would surely stay here.

The bed was not really suitable for us because of our size and weight, but probably other people wouldn't mind. Is not a dealbreaker though to ever stay here again

Very nice, full apartment, 10 minutes by car to Lugano. The apartment and its kitchen is fully equipped and you can park the car outside, hence it is ideal to visit Lugano, Locarno, Bellinzona and all the surrounding areas. The staff was very nice, they live nearby if you need anything. We went for 3 days and the breakfast was included. It was really good, all you can expect from an italian-like breakfast, and everything Bio, quality products. Overall, good quality-value, we might come back!

Very friendly and helpful hosts who go out of their way to make your stay comfortable...well equipped kitchen, good selection at breakfast served in the room. Clean and spacious. Bed small but comfortable.
