Food was amazing. Staff were amazing.

Nothing it was perfect.

Marco the host was wonderful. We arrived quite late but he managed to still get us in to his restaurant. The place was delightful. Beautiful surroundings and the place was spotless. When we left the next morning he offered us water, sandwiches and fruit for our next leg of our journey. It’s a pity we didn’t stay longer here. Totally recommend and would love to go back next time we visit beautiful Italy.

Our favorite place in Tuscany - everything is perfect!

It was a lovely place in the country side, nice and clean rooms, great breakfast. A great place for finding some piece and quiet, very close to Lucca with lovely and caring staff. We had a great time.

We liked everything, nothing to improve.

The property was beautiful and our private villa was spacious and well kept. The staff were incredibly friendly, free breakfast every morning and optional lunch (at an additional cost) of fresh pasta and sides. the amenities were great and clean. Would 100% recommend!

we had some hot water issues in our villa but other than that it was great!

the property is beautiful, designer fixtures, beautifully furnished, comfortable beds and linens, a very upscale boutique experience. we had a ‘family suite’ upstairs were two bedrooms and two bathrooms and downstairs was a kitchen ( refrigerator, stove, dishes, pans, glassware & silverware) , dining and living room. very spacious. the front was a grassy patio with comfortable chairs, umbrella and coffee table. The breakfast was superb, the food, the setting, the service! Marco was a wonderful host, greeted us with a glass of wine and an introduction to Lucca with a map, full of ideas for day trips and events in Lucca. restaurants close by and many nights we went to The grocery store, Eurospin , and stayed in, as it was such a beautiful place to stay home! Nico, the chef was fabulous, the food was top notch and Nico was full of ideas for day trips, packed us lunch and sent us off to Pietrasanta, Porto Venere among other great spots. Lavignia served breakfast with a smile, very attentive and sweet as could be. the cleaning staff did so much laundry for us as we had been traveling a lot, it was all just ‘over the top’, we wanted to move in!

extremely relaxibg stay. Marco and his team is ultra welcoming - which we can appreciate since having a child even more! Really enjoyed the breakfast and dinner on Monday. location near Lucca is perfect, there are a few restaurants a walk away (one had an amazing view - book in advance! )… Hope to be able to come back one day!!!

Beautiful setting in the countryside yet still close to Lucca. The use of bikes allowed us to explore the local area. The hotel was exceptional providing a comfortable, clean room and additional seating areas inside and out to relax. Breakfast was fantastic with a wide choice. Thank you to Marco and the team for a wonderful experience.

Our stay was too short - we will be back!

The hospitality and welcome we received. The breakfast was SUPERB and Nico went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. Marco was so welcoming and gracious to us.

a little off the beaten track, but easy to reach Lucca by bike. Marco and all the staff were fantastic. could not be more welcoming and accommodating.

The apartment was large and the pool area beautiful. It was clear that the staff (Marco and chef were passionate about the hotel). Breakfasts were delicious and the chef went out of his way to please. Dinner can be purchased on Mondays and this is highly recommended,

On Tuesdays places to eat that are walkable are limited.

You must book this place, do not hesitate!! beautiful hotel in a wonderful location. Lovely rooms, exceptionally clean, large swimming pool, perfectly kept grounds and varied (tasty) breakfast. Walking distance to incredible restaurants with gorgeous backdrops. well situated to explore Lucca. Best of all was the hotel owner, Marco, and the lovely staff who made sure everything was perfect for our stay. Marco is a genuinely caring and kind person who takes pride in looking after his guests. You can also use the beach club 35 mins away which is included in your stay, and it is very nice and relaxing. 10/10, wish we had stayed longer and can’t wait to visit again!!

Lovely building thoughtfully laid out and Marco and his fantastic team work very hard to ensure everything is clean and kept in great condition. Fantastic breakfast, service with a smile and a beautiful pool area. Marco allowed us to check in early as we were attending a wedding on the first day which was really helpful. Would 100% return again.

The property was in an amazing location, was well equipped and had a team whose sole purpose seemed to be focussed on their customer. From the owner ( Marco) through to the Chef, table staff and cleaners - the whole team were cheerful and couldn’t do enough to personalise your stay. Thank You.

Ai Santinelli is a property that has been renovated to the upmost of standards. Everything has been thought of! Marco is an excellent host, the energy of the place is perfect. We were so very sad to leave! You will not be disappointed if you stay here! We HIGHLY recommend. Thankyou Marco!
