Hermosa casa de madera de pino de Oregon, en un lote de diez acres con su propio río y bosques. Está enclavado en las montañas con vista a tres volcanes, incluyendo Villarica pero cerca de Pucón, famoso en Chile como un centro de vacaciones con rafting, escalada, canopy, trekking, playa, mercados artesanales y muchas más actividades, incluyendo grandes Vida nocturna y restaurantes de calidad.
La casa se encuentra a poca distancia de espectaculares cascadas y bosques nativos y a una distancia en automóvil (10 minutos) de la playa de arena del lago Caburga, baños termales y un parque nacional. Es perfecto para aquellos de ustedes que les gusta combinar actividades de la naturaleza con la relajación.
La casa es de planta abierta con chimenea de piedra, varias cubiertas y lugares para tomar el sol, leer o hacer una barbacoa. El salón tiene ventanas enormes con vistas que cambian cada día de los volcanes Villarica, Quetropellan y Lanin, además de montañas exuberantes llenas de árboles nativos. Está totalmente equipado para los estándares norteamericanos. Pucón tiene acceso a aerolíneas comerciales desde Santiago en verano. Fácil acceso a la Argentina.

We just returned from Pucon and loved staying at Robert's house. The views are breathtaking and the house is very spacious and well equipped. We found it to be a nice distance from town, easily accessible but still far enough away to enjoy some quiet.

We had a fabulous family christmas at this house. Interior space and log fire (for the couple of chilly eve's) were fab. Night sky view from the deck was fantastic. View of the volcanoes was good but trees begining to obscure the view so they may need trimming. Climbed Villarica and slid down, which was fantastic fun. Surrounding area fab views and great lake swimming. Enjoyed our stay.

Lovely Christmas 2013
We had a fabulous family christmas at this house. Interior space and log fire (for the couple of chilly eve's) were fab. Night sky view from the deck was fantastic. View of the volcanoes was good but trees begining to obscure the view so they may need trimming. Climbed Villarica and slid down, which was fantastic fun. Surrounding area fab views and great lake swimming. Enjoyed our stay.

Thank you Robert for letting us use Palo Santo. We spent a week in January 2013 and have really enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful, fully equipped, extremely comfortable and with an unparalleld view. It is ideal to relax, enjoy the landscape and discover the region.
We definetely recommend it and would love to come back soon.

This home sits on a hill with a big view to the three volcanoes in the area. It's peaceful but not remote. The house is surrounded by trees and farmland occupied by horses, sheep, goats and many birds. The setting plus the view is reason enough to visit Palo Santo. The house itself is well stocked and comfortably furnished though there were no laundry facilities on site for our visit. The home is ideal for a group though six footers will not fit in some of the beds. The kitchen has everything, the fireplace is impressive and the neighbors are hospitable. The living area and deck were especially appreciated. The nearby waterfalls were an ideal morning's worth of exploration.
Pucon is a laid back paradise of outdoor activities. If you're visiting from the US, you'll be a bit taken aback by how competent and cordial everyone is. We'll likely visit again, hopefully soon.

We rented the house for a week, and wish we could have stayed for longer, it was so nice to be there.The Pucon / Villarrica / Caburga area has so much to offer - we did all that we could - we fished, hiked, swam, run, and ate delicious food. I loved the location of the house - closer to Caburga, in the backroads, which made it really peaceful. Robert (the owner) was so nice with us, he gave us a lot of advice on what to do while we were there, who to contact, etc - It was all super useful and made us feel like "at home".My whole family enjoyed this beautiful house and the surroundings, we are thankful that we could rent it... These are going to be great memories for all of us!

We had so much fun at Palo Santo! The house is super comfortable, with great views of the volcanos around Pucon and very peaceful surroundings. Loved the sheeps and goats that came to greet us when we arrived, and that came each afternoon to graze around the house. We also loved the great kitchen, super well equipped - and that allowed us to feel like at home... We rented the house for a week, and wish we could have stayed for longer, it was so nice to be there.
The Pucon / Villarrica / Caburga area has so much to offer - we did all that we could - we fished, hiked, swam, run, and ate delicious food. I loved the location of the house - closer to Caburga, in the backroads, which made it really peaceful.
Robert (the owner) was so nice with us, he gave us a lot of advice on what to do while we were there, who to contact, etc - It was all super useful and made us feel like "at home".
My whole family enjoyed this beautiful house and the surroundings, we are thankful that we could rent it... These are going to be great memories for all of us!

Palo Santo is perfect in so many ways. The setting is magnificent--the views are constant reminders of the beauty of southern Chile. The house is impeccable and very well equipped. The photos cannot do the setting or the home justice. It is more than what you see. Palo Santo makes you feel lucky to be where you are, regardless of what you want to do on your vacation. It also makes you feel at home--which is not always the case when on vacation. As for activities...we were there for five days and barely touched the surface of things to do in the area. Life is tough when you have to choose between treks through old growth forests or sitting on an amazing terrace entranced with the view of three volcanoes. I cannot speak more highly of Palo Santo and its owners. The whole experience and rental transaction were top notch. I hope to make it a regular vacation spot for my family when visiting Chile from the States.
