Great welcome. Location to beach.

Too many children in pool. People doing yoga outside room. Lack of bars and restaurants

Booking informed us that the check in time was 15:00 and check out 11:00. five minutes after making the reservation - non refundable - the hotel send us the message stating the check in time to be 17:00 and the check out to be 10:00. These are borderline check in and out times, but whatever. When we arrived at the hotel at check in we were told that we will not have beach access the day of check out. Considering that we booked only one night this effectively meant that we did not have a single day of beach access at all. We came to spend a day at the beach and paid for 3 rooms only to be told that we do not have even have a full day to spend at the beach!!!

We had a very bad experience with our aircon which didnt work for 2 nights out of 3...it was 38 degrees and we couldn't sleep. After complaining several times we were offered a 50$ refund which was less than 10% of the two nights. Overall poor value for money for our room. Pool was murky and unable to cope with the heat and number of people. Food was mixed (breakfast ok, Duna restaurant very good) Overall attitude of people towards our problem made it an uncomfortable stay for us

a bit far out, very much geared towards German speaking tourists. the season is almost ending so not much going on nearby.

loved the proximity to the beach and good standard of rooms. Receptionists were very helpful and friendly as were house keeping staff.Great to have allocated beach beds parasol and chair.

Needs better links to the centre of town and needs more restaurants on site. Standard of in house restaurant in Trattoria was below par and the beach restaurant was over priced. Needs another pool

we had to book via booking.com as no one was available for 3 days to take a reservation and even at the property we were not able to get information for a potential booking in the future , a bit strange

Clean well equipped room. Well organised with good restaurant. Great beach. Comfort and variety of activities for children always the best. GDS is still our choice although read below for some unexpected changes!

Significant changes at GDS this year! The surfing and windsurfing facilities that we used for the over 10 years are no longer available. This is a huge disappointment, as this is one of the main reasons we stay at GDS. Newer staff members at desk not very welcoming, new restaurant waiting staff not very professional and sarcastic with my family who didn't speak Italian! Pity that many of the senior staff have not been maintained.
