The reception staff. I know we have very little French, but we try to speak the greetings and basics in French, but that does not mean we should be berated for not giving the 50 old year+ man a quick enough answer. He is in the service industry and we are paying good money for our vacation, so their should be reciprocating values and respect, not belittlement. l suggest he should reflect on his attitude to customers.

Very nice little hotel in a great area. The owner & staff were extremely professional. I'd like to give special thanks to the owner as he assisted me with a ferry ticket rebooking.

The shampoo/soap was in small plastic packets that were hard to open. Compared to other hotels where they provide big soap dispensers this was a little disappointing.

Clean and well appointed. Good shower and a convenient distance for the bars and restaurants but in a quiet location. Dogs welcome.

This is a recently restored small hotel in a peripheral position, but well within walking distance from the city centre. The plus is the easy availability of parking space. The surroundings are not wonderful - quite some litter in the streets and a view on the train station - but not unsafe at all. And in any event this is the average cleanliness of Bastia. The hotel stands out for being very clean and offering comfortable rooms. The owner does really his best to make your stay as good as possible, and the breakfast is rich. We were very happy with the stay.

Hotel has ideal position as it is located very close to train station, ferry terminal/port and historic town of Bastia. Rooms are spacious enough with generous bath rooms. Cleanliness was exemplary and well kept throughout our stay. We enjoyed the quietness and the comfortable bed. Breakfast was an enriched French breakfast ( containing beside croissant, pain au chocolat, butter and jam also yoghurt, fresh fruit and fruit puree plus coffee/tea and fruit juice). We consider 10 Euro/person a fair price for it.

We stayed on the ground floor, therefore it was difficult for us to leave windows open while we were out.
