Checkin took for ever and we had to go twice beacause first our bracelets where not activated and once we entered the room it was not the one we paid for and they where not nice about there mixup and made us feel manipulated and did not accepted there error very well and gave us the room I paid for after we got upset. They try to sell you this membership while you are trying to eat breakfast, and it lasts about an 1hr they evan sit at your table felt invasive. The water at the buffet made me sick and could only drink water placed on our room or had to buy it at the hotel store where everything was overlying extremely priced. The tour of the boogies purchased at the hotel was a scam the "cave" they sold us was not a cave it was man made and was a semi-circle hand made pool, the boogies where in very bad shape and no helmet was provided. The New York steak I ordered at the steak restaurant was not well done it was filled with blood, raw, and had many nerves I ended up eating my poor husband order and he mine because they dont take well errors and didn't want to be mistreated again. Left tips anyway at all the restaurants. The room was very clean. The pool needs maintenance. I was afraid of drinking anything with water or ice, so I stuck to 7 up the hole trip for an all-inclusive that is so bummed. I will not return to this hotel or recommend it, unfortunately. Yes, it has many restaurants, but it is impossible to make a reservation unless you're a privileged customer. Yes they do many activities but sometimes some activities where not available the time and day posted and the activity program without warning or cancelation. Mike's coffee shop was the best.

la distribucion del hotel fantastica, buenas piscinas y mar, la recreacion excepcional, actividades variadas y para todos los gustos, buena habitacion y limpieza, buena variedad de alimentos y bebidas
los bartender en geneal son poco amables, podrian capacitarlos para ser mas amables, ademas algunos solo sonrien si das propina.

The general staff (bartenders ((especially Manuel at the pool)), waiters, drivers) were great, excellent entertainment staff, steakhouse restaurant was the best, pool side cooking was delicious especially Dominican day, pool entertainment was also great.
Beach is small and not at all nice. Very difficult to get a reservation for any of the thematic restaurants, air conditioning is horrible throughout the hotel including restaurants. We were in a privileged honeymoon suite where the AC was great but had friends in 3 different buildings where their rooms were soooo warm! Our room got flooded twice because of AC leaking, we also had bad water pressure. Privilege staff including butler were not helpful at all, we got better attention from the regular staff. They make you take a tour that lasts 3 hours to sell you basically their priority benefits, waste of my vacation time, I had read about it so I refused but our friends got trapped.

The property overall was nice. the animation team were the absolute best. the cleaning crew were also very pleasant and did well their job. the food at the restaurants was good including the buffet.
The staff needs improvement. I’ve visited more than 6 resorts in punta cana and when it comes to service from staff this one was definitely not the best. the room service person made unnecessary approach as to me not waisting the food and a few times we had to wait at the restaurants to be attended by food servers.

It was right by the beach, and the pools were big, clean, and warm. The staff, for the most part, were friendly.
1) The room smelled like algae
2) The floors weren't clean. We had to use a towel like a dust mop to get all the sand, dirt, etc. off the floor.
3) The Air Conditioner didn't work at all. The coldest that room got was 78 degrees, and the warmest was almost 85 degrees. Even after asking twice, the AC wasn't fixed, and we weren't able to change rooms..or even get a box fan. After waking up soaked in sweat 2 nights in a row, we checked out before going to bed on the 3rd night.
4) For an "All-Inclusive" resort, it's amazing how many things aren't included. For example, only Presidente is the included beer. The few other beers (IE: Corona, Heineken, Budweiser) are $6 per beer. Even bars in America don't charge that much.

The hotel had a lot of amenities and helps you suit most of your needs so that you don't have to go out from the property at all. That's a good part as you can enjoy without having to look for different options.
We got sick at the property and we just consumed food and beverages from the place and even if we reported there was not a genuine wish to support us or giving different options. We ended up leaving one day prior and they only decided to follow the property rules due to the dates we were on.
