great location. nice breakfast

cost a little to high for what you get.

location, close to the ports. big room, with a small dining table for writing the veranda for breakfast is so cozy and peaceful even for me who doesn’t take breakfast. the breakfast spread is fantastic, with yoghurt and different types of bread and pastries impressive housekeeping staff who conscientiously cleaned every nook and corner of the room. never met such a meticulous housekeeper before, thank you!

53 steps to reach the accommodation with a big luggage. as our room is next to the door steps, not very good for light sleepers no water provided in room. but it’s ok, there’s a kettle for us to boil water

Not the best hotel. However we where there to sleep and eat a quick breakfast and go explore. Great location really clean and the cheapest we could find.

Door handle of bathroom was loose and fell off. Never put back on but I’m presuming they do not have a handy man to help out.

The interior design was very cool, the room we had was like nothing I've ever stayed in before. Most hotels are just copy and paste but this place had a uniqueness that landed well.

Location was excellent, amenities none except a coffee machine.

The room was outdated, bathroom leaked out water when taking showers, beds were tough, hard and thin bed linen that hardly covered you. When I walked in I though I had reserved a hostel room!! I paid $280 a night for a run down place. I would have gone to the next town of Ravello if I had known this room looked the way it looked. The so called breakfast was dry bread, cold cuts exposed to the sun, limited customer service here.

The location was amazing. The staff was very responsive and available. Everything in easy walking distance.

There were mosquitos everywhere the windows didn’t seal well so you get a lot of bites while trying to sleep. The towels were pretty rough.

Very difficult location to get to, especially with luggage. Limited access by car or scooter as it is a private plaza. Bare bones place with basic breakfast. Owner is nice lady but seems overwhelmed running the place on her own.

Room was ok and clean.

There was only one person to attend to the guests reception and breakfast was only one person breakfast was late had to wait for some fresh items to be served breakfast was supposed to start at 8am which is late if you have to vacate your room by 10am and some days breakfast wasn't served until 8.30am. Also no milk in the room to make coffee or tea only sugar and no-one around to ask for anything in the evening and the coffee machine was shut off in the evening, no hot drinks available with machine or in the room. Also access to the property had 52 steps to climb not 40 as stated on the website not good location for the property.also air conditioning was positioned to close to main bed couldn't keep it on for more 5 minutes before having to switch it off then room became hot again.

What I liked most about Residenza Sole is the location -quite central-, the good treatment and friendliness of the hostess Annalisa, and the cleanliness of the room. I didn't have a chance to try the breakfast, but I have no doubt that everything is excellent! Highly recommended!

The room was excellent- spacious, good washroom, and the bed was comfortable too. The host was too kind us to allow us to check in early. The highlight of this place is its location. 100 metres from the beaches and the bus station. Highly recommended!

Very nice outdoor seating, absolutely good breakfast, very nice staff, good bedding, nice atmosphere. Perfect location!

There was no window for fresh air. Room and shared terrace were adjoining, so either you left the door open - which does not feel private - or you had no fresh air. I really missed that.

There was no way to use the HVAC to ventilate the room without heating it. I had an early bus and the only way to cool off the room was to open the windows and let in all the noise from the nearby square. The room was spacious and would have been fine for €40, but nothing special for €95. A bit rundown.

The staff was great and accommodating. Great location for me staying only one night. I suppose the room was good value for Amalfi, but not for anywhere else in Italy (or the world, maybe!). I liked that I at least was able to save €15 by opting out of breakfast!

We were disappointed that both the two shower waterhoses were leaking at maximum, the first shower was not pleasant. We were happy that the owner took responsibility and fixed immediately these two flexible waterhoses by replacing with both new waterhoses for the shower after our complaint Remark: this situation could have been avoided & noticed when they did cleaning of the showerroom. Very friendly, nice room, good bed & shower and the car was safe in Public parking
