The good place to stay for one night. Not far from autobahn track, so you don't need to go to inside the city if you have transit stay. The hotel is pet friendly. Nice small apartment. Parking is near the hotel.

The temperature in the room was too hot, so it was difficult to breath and there was no possibility to control heating system by yourself.

The reception

There is no air conditioning. It was awful, it was about 40 degrees inside the room and the room was stinking detergent and humid. We left the hotel at midnight and slept in the car. No one from the hotel was in the reception to help us. It was a night to forget.

Check-in was easy & its location to the motorway.

Travelling with 3 children and a dog, we went for something to eat (after we had checked in) at the only restaurant in the hotel. There were no menus and the owner who was working that night had to remember what food was available. The food was OK. We then returned to the room to get some sleep only to find there were no buttons for the A/C - it was the hottest nigh of the year, and when I ask if there were any spare buttons I was told that it was broken! I went back to the room, slightly opened the window as we were on the top floor and went for a shower only to find the outlet was blocked and before I knew it the shower tray was full and overspilling onto the floor. The bed sheets were also dirty on one of the beds. The room was close to 40deg and was noisy from the local power factory due to the window being open so after an hour we decided to leave. Despite the owner telling me he was fully booked he then offered another room but we were packed and ready to leave. He should have been honest and told us the problems when we checked in.

The gps sent me to a different location the hotel was situated in an industrial part of town right next to an electrical power plant , a tower within the grounds of the hotel 50 yards from the front door. In fact if I hadn’t been so tired I would have moved on. the cancellation fee is there for a reason. not signed location and I took 40 mins to find it as the address led me into a dead end with graffiti along the walls, didn’t feel safe. the hotel is situated on a hill side with parking out the front, looks ok until you see a pretty serious huge power plant opposite side of the Rd with a mast actually in the grounds of the hotel. hot sticky night with hot teenager and two very hot dogs. location is the worst I’ve ever stayed in ,overpriced, pics look good but unfortunately my room faced a not very nice back of property smelly with bins to the back, the better rooms face the car park with the electrical mast to the right of the main entrance area, hazard to health is the first thing I thought. the staff were lovely and couldn’t be more helpful. I wouldn’t go near the place again ever. The room was standard clean, 35c heat outside and an aircon unit, I asked at the reception if it would be possible to find the missing remote and use it, the answer no, you can’t use it. no explanation, there was a little fridge pretending to be a mini bar again unplugged.

Really good value. Staff really friendly, clean and good for overnight stay travelling to either to FRANCE or onward journey in Spain.

It’s not that we do not like the property as we have stayed twice. It’s just the location some people would not like as it is very close to what seems to be an electrical station with lots of pylons etc and very close to an industrial estate. But the friendly staff, good food and clean rooms etc and are very happy to accommodate dogs out-ways the surroundings and it’s very close to get back onto the motorway.

Location opposite a 24 hour noisy power generating station. Beds uncomfortable, shower poor unable to open windows due to noise. Paid breakfast - only 1 croissant & cup of coffee.

Everything was perfect, just off the motorway, great room, comfortable bed, staff friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

Large room. Dog friendly. Late check in. Tasty 3 course evening menu with a wine for 11 euros. Good position as a stop off on route from southern Spain to calais. This is the 4th time I have visited and will stay again. Plenty of free parking.

Strange position overlooking power plant, but not a problem.
