It was an amazing experience. The staff is very helpful and proactive. We had a free upgrade from a King room to Luxury Villa on the lake. There was such a beautiful view from the bedroom; very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was also great, with a big variety of food. The location was also great and easy to access by car.

the property would have been ok if they were better prepared for load shedding. shocking!!!

Having to request for simple things like towels, coffee and water and the disappointing no fridge experience, and oh having to pay extra for a cappuccino in an entire hotel

location is perfect and the privacy of the grounds are nice but it’s not a 4 star.

staff is super friendly but they could not meet up to the standards of a 4 star hotel. slow, bad service extra payment for cappuccino during breakfast. no generator so with the loadshedding absolutely nothing works. wich is strange for a big hotel. waiting at breakfast for your eggs and coffee was just to long. I know it’s Africa but with 10 people staf and 10 guests things could go faster. communication is also something the hotel and staff need to work on. or better lack of communication.

Tye breakfast is terrible no variations everyday the same and fruit is sun standard.

The guard at the gate was lovely, so friendly and welcoming. Brought a smile to our faces after a long drive.

Upon arrival our room was not ready even though we specified the arrival time of 3pm and arrived shortly after. They asked us to wait and they would call when the room was ready. This call never came and after sitting waiting in our car we eventually we went to the room ourselves to check. They didn’t alert us to the fact that the 4 star resort has no generator. They also didn’t let us know about the back up rechargeable light, only once I walked to reception (phone’s don’t work), to find out about a generator did they allude to the pitiful rechargeable light that we can make use of. The carpet in our room was sticky. It had a black substance that stuck to the bottom of your feet when you walked across it. Upon letting reception know, they said that there is nothing that they can do about it as house keeping had already left. It was disgusting. The lack of hospitality shown by reception was appalling. They were not interested in helping or finding a solution.

The breakfast was amazing and the hotel is situated at a beautiful location.

On our first day, there was a music event just outside our room, as a result we struggled to sleep because of the noise coming from that music event. The hotel should have alerted us about this event or organized a room that was further away from the noise. Secondly the hotel forgot to lock the adjoining room to our suite, as a result another guest could have easily walked into our room while we were not there.

Fridge in the room Was told I would have a sleeping couch in the room - there was non and the reception didn’t know anything about it Rooms were not next to each other Pork foods were too close to other prepared foods I witnessed someone I’m using the bacon utensil by the toaster and then leaving it in the toaster area - unacceptable Did not feel comfortable eating anything there
